I like the design concept. My comments to improve are that the silhouette of the dog doesn't look like an American Collie ... more like a wolf or fox. A closer representation is in design #7 where the Capital "R" contains a silhouette of what looks more like a Collie. Google this "Reveille american collie images" for some additional references to collie images.
With the "Collie" image outside the wording the oil derrick probably is a little much visually so I'd suggest changing that back to just the word without the derrick. Would suggest also substituting the "&" for the word "And".
