Hi, I've made a solar panel / graduation mortar board combination to represent the solar and education aspects of this division of your business. feedback welcome.

Now this is a great concept..,we are definitely keeping this at #1 rank. Colors are perfect...great continued use of the logo and the mortar board is a stellar idea.

Loved the "solar" though we are not strictly solar educators...could you possibly integrate "wind" and "water" design into what you have thus far...without too much clutter :-) I know, we want it all...and i apologize..though i am so excited by what you have started.

let me know if you think this is too subtle - I've made the tassel on the mortar board a water drop shape, and put a wind turbine propellor symbol inside it ... like you said, it could very easily become overcrowded so I thought subtlety was best ... let me know what you think.

Ok...we are getting there:-) A couple of thoughts/suggestions/desires. One, can we use my logo intact instead of the font that you used? Two, you totally understood what i was thinking about with the addition of wind and water...it doesn't work well in your latest attempt...it takes away from the great mortar board concept. Any other thoughts to integrate wind and water?

hi, here is another idea - inside the sphere you can see the subtle shape of a wave, a wind turbine and the recycle symbol ... with regarding your current logo, the jpeg is not a format we can use within our designs as its not a 'vector' format. If you're able to tell us the font thats used perhaps I can re-create it.

Wow...you are a busy designer. thank you for your attention to our logo. I will send ask the designer for the "vector" of our logo. And i was hoping that we could keep the mortar and tassle as the "Nike Swoosh" so that the Academy will be recognized in the future by using only that element so i like the addition of the green design globe to give it stablity...well done :-) Can we make the wind and water clearer? I dont see them really and i was hoping that those would be as identifiable as the solar panel in the mortar.

I take your point - heres a new version and i'll update with your logo once the vector becomes available.

Cheers for now and thanks for the feedback so far - it really helps move the process along :)

Ive uploaded the .eps file...please see if you can use it :-) And if you cannot find it then i will have to figure out a way to get it to you for integration into you design.

I do not see an .eps file unfortunately - I can see a .png file and a docx files - neither of which seem to contain an eps. My email is husk@me.com if you have an eps files you'd like to email me.

here's a temporary solution so you can see what it looks like - but I must stress that the quality here is not optimal until I replace your logo with the original eps - it is possible incidentally that a true vector doesn't exist of your current logo - perhaps it was originally done in photoshop ... in which case just the name of the typeface from your original designer would be useful so I recreate a proper vector for you.

thanks,

Husk
