Dear Terry, WoW! I really appreciate the creative twist you have added on both designs.
Especially Entry 1, which is brilliant, dynamic and sophisticated. (I love the shadow on the bottom to give it a third dimension.
The arrows give it a very corporate feel which is getting away from the more personal approach we have. Even in business, we attempt to work from the heart, and certainly from a standpoint of higher awareness; My partners and I are 40+ and have all left the corporate environment in favor or creating the workstyle and lifestyle we want.
This is reflected on the New Innergy website; www.newinnergy.com
I am also interested to see how a portion of the sphere (versus the whole) can be mixed with the name which will give it drama and make it more expansive, allowing the viewer's mind to fill in the rest.
With the font, it is very strong, which is good, but on the verge of too strong/masculine; maybe you can lighten it up....
Design no. 2 is again creative and well done, but too heavy and flat for me.
Thanks for the feedback. First off I usually try make to make designs a little out of the brief sometimes coz I think sometimes a designer maybe able to envision what the company doest. Secondly..The sphere you proposed is a good thought but I fear slightly that it might just look like "Ariel detergent" logo.http://www.ariel.co.uk/Default.aspx Ariel is a very powerfull brand and if you see the history of its logo evolution .. it look pretty similar to you idea, so something needs to be designed it needs to look way different from Ariel, otherwise your brand will be muted against it. I'll try to post some more ideas soon. Hope you find this constructive. :)
Thank you for sharing your insight. Indeed, I had not thought about Ariel; and have been more sensitive not to get too close to electrons, protons & atomic energy with the circle.
So, your creative vision is most welcome.
We are business developers and connectors, helping to develop new business and socio-economic models, but still rooted in, and serving the traditional world, which is necessary in order to bring about change.
So, the circle and inter-connectivity are not new, but still at the core of the innovation game; multi-disciplinary, inter-disciplinary, multi-lingual, multi-cultural, with the ability to see new relations between them all, AND bring them together.
That is the awareness required, and then 'new innergy' to bring it alive; the spark.
This is why I am happy when you take inspiration from the lines provided by the sphere, and go abstract. It is not about the sphere itself; only the roots in the sacred geometry of the circle, and the intersection where all cirlces/triibes connect.
When we close a deal, we plan to give the Client a 'tombstone" with the 3D sphere, but that is as far as the literal connection will go, so feel free to go beyond !!!
thank you for these; they are beautiful and clever!
For the REP brand, I find them still too literal as they involve the entire sphere; I would prefer to see something the viewer's mind can fill in; we do solar, wind and are looking at biomass as well and will evolve as the industries do, so it is good when the logo is 'open-ended' to evolve in various directions.
The designs are brilliant 'animations' would be ideal for a creative, media company. We, however, are starting an investment services advisory, and must appeal to bankers and investment managers.
