Discussion

All your designs are very good, thank you for your hard work! We hope the new rankings will help guide you further in the right direction. Your new design, #27, is especially nice. We would like to see the red wing tips incorporated in there somehow! Great job and thank you. Please check the 'Contest Brief' for additional updates.

Ok Danez, you are doing really great and I want to give you a few notes to help you win!

We love the V from your designs #36 and #27. Maybe you can add some blue to it somehow. For example, maybe add one blue brush stroke along the left side of the V, or you can look at the pictures of the plane and use that as a reference as to where to add colors. We want it abstract, but we still want to represent the actual plane as it is.

We would also like to see the wings from #34 on your design #36. Maybe you can also use the airplanes real life color structure (see airplane pictures) on the wings as well. For example, white wings and 'Red Tips'. The way you colored #13 and #41 is nice, maybe you can mix that kind of style with the style of #34 #35.

Also, maybe you can point the wings upwards a little bit like the actual plane (see pictures), more like you did on #41.

We would also like to maybe see the top of the V with the additional detail like you did on #41 and #13, so it represents the real plane more accurately, but still keep it abstract and fluid like you do on #36, #34, #27.

Please try to use the exact colors of the actual plane.

Great job and thank you very much for your work! Cant wait to see what comes next.

Thank you for all the updates!!!

We would like to see the V tail from #36, with the wings of #54.

Then on the V tail #36, we would like to see a subtle blue streak along one of the existing streaks on left side of the V, and/or maybe on both sides like you did on #54. We love the overall color scheme you have on #54.

Utilizing these new updates, we would like to see a completely separate design that shows more of the airplanes body and its three propellers, as if you were looking at the plane from the back side. It should all remain very subtle like your current top ranking designs, we just want to see another design that is less abstract and more obviously an airplane. So when somebody looks at it they can make out the logo more easily, but still keep it abstract enough to where it may take a moment or two to figure it out.

Once again, thank you so much for your hard work.

We should be careful that the V doesn't end up looking too much like an 'open book'. I had one person say that they thought it looked like an 'open book'. Maybe it doesn't matter so much, but I wanted to let you know and see what you thought...

Also, please make sure not to update or withdraw any of your existing designs. We want to see new designs and use your old ones as references to get the new ones right.

Thank you!

I think it's not such an open book, and if you look at the rear of the aircraft wing-shaped "V" and imagine it like an open book, it will look like that

if you see the plane right from the back, it looks like the propeller will not be seen clearly, except from the front

Don't worry about the 'open book' thing.

We understand what you're saying about the propellers, but look at the photo we uploaded (IMG_5888) and you can kinda see what were talking about. Now imagine design #71 with the main body of the plane (the fuselage) in-between the V, and then one of the propellers going straight up and the other two pointing downwards and outwards slightly under each wing, still from the perspective of behind the airplane. What do you think?

Also, on #71, we want to see the right wing colored blue exactly like you have it on the left wing.

Another note for design #71: Directly to the right side of the blue part, there are essentially five red lines that make up the entire left part of the V. We would like you to remove the first red line that is directly to the right of the blue part. We understand that the first red line flows under and over to the right portion of the V, and we have no problem with the way it looks on the right side of the V. We just want the left side of the V to be less busy and we think removing that first red line will do the job. Thank you Danez! Great work.

We definitely don't want it to look anything like a tribal tattoo, like #27! haha

By the way, design #74 is very slick! We like it.

Hi
I just want to tell you, if you send a new message or ask for some changes to the design, and I still have not been answered,
it because today is my brother's wedding, and I was assigned the best man, so I will be available the next few hours since I sent this message.

I hope you do not mind,
thank you,

Danez
