This meets our request in all aspects in principal.

We think the font needs to be more "blocky" and vanilla. Very simple, clean. This is not far off, but we can't say it is our favorite yet.

The harder part of our design need is to establish the symbol at the left of the logo that can stand on its own, and be animated as a "video loading" animation. We run a lot of hosted video players around the web, and many people will encounter our brand for the first time through this symbol alone. We don't know exactly what it should look like exactly, but we have some guidelines:

1) While we do not need an animation from you, we will animate the symbol after the contest, and so you should make it something which can be animated in a simple way that people will recognize as an indication that their video is loading; (This is the symbol which will reside inside the video player while video loads). Your is reduce-able, but it is hard to imagine how to animate it in a simple way.

2) the symbol should be very simple so that it can be reduced to very small sizes, (such as a "powered by" type bug on a video player that is small and unobtrusive, but still recognizable). We want to look at lots of "rg" symbol treatments, but we also think we may only be able to use an abstract symbol inorder to meet our other requirements: Your "rg" may not be recognizable in small form, for example. A more "minimlaist" rg may work...

3) It needs to be unique enough that as we gain more traction, our symbol is immediately recognizable by those who know us, and that it is memorable and distinct enough that if you see it twice, you remember it: We realize that his requirement is hard to balance with requirement #2 above, and so that is the challenge: Create something unique and memorable, but which is also easily 'reduce-able' and simple as an animation. The best reference i can think of is the 3D box animation that Brightcove uses when their player loads, for example.

Can you try some more treatments of the symbol? simple, minimlaist rg, abstrat versions, all very simple, reduce-able, and "animatable...?"

It would also be good to see symbol treatments that are vertically aligned with the font in the logo. Again, not a necessity, but just something we want to consider
