This is close, which is why we moved it in to second can we see it with all dark dead roots on the left side, and is there a way to make the figure less masculine...maybe just stand straight with no features. can there be a layer behind the roots that show the right side is in water or the roots on that side are soaking up water. maybe even make dead roots on the left side smaller

Can we see this design with a few changes. the left side of this tree we want to be dead with shorter roots. Once its hydrated then keep the right side full of life. To stay consistent with this we almost need the figure to be flipped so that the arm down is on the dead side of the tree and is up on the right side.
