Thanks Josh I think he will like this ... can you make the clip mask a bit larger to see more of the room? Only if you have more of the room.... I haven't shown him yet but I like it.
Thanks! I actually DON'T have more of the room...I did in my sketch, but I didn't want to feature the floor too much, so I tightened it up in the actual drawing. :(
There's something about the name "Ray" that seems to call for a "classic/retro" treatment - haha. I thought there'd be more entries already...I was trying not to look at the contest until I had my first round ready.
Is he dead-set against cleaning supplies? I had a fun idea that used them, but if he's automatically tossing anything with a feather duster, I'll just save it for another day :)
I know you/he said no cleaning supplies - BUT - I thought a coat of arms made from cleaning supplies could indicate a lot of things - a "royal reputation" as the best, a long history of service and a service to be trusted. It's a little tongue-in-cheek, but I think it can still be used in a serious manner and certainly not degrading or insulting.
If nothing else, it at least offers a different direction :)
Also important to notice, #19 is a single color, so it can be EASILY/affordably embroidered onto the pocket area of a shirt of made into patches to apply to jackets. It could also be screen-printed onto wastebaskets, rubber/sanitary gloves, wastebags, etc.!
sorry Josh he really hates logos that show cleaning supplies but I think your other concept is right on - so PLEASE enter more with furniture or rooms showing sparkly clean....
I think the iconic concept is okay just change your icons from cleaning supplies to clean rooms... thanks Carol
Hey carol - that's okay...you did say he didn't like cleaning supplies. I guess I was hoping that he would be able to see the logo as an emblem/whole, rather than a pile of supplies. Probably more conceptual than necessary.
