Here are some of my concepts. I've gone for something that's fairly clean and simple, yet striking. Creating an icon that works well within the logo or as a stand alone element, one that can be used for things like favicons or watermarks.
The logos are 100% vector so will scale well to any size, and works well in full colour and B&W.
It would be my pleasure to work up any variations so please do say.
First choice is the one with the spit rectangle above my name, entry #5. The rectangle catches my eye nicely - though I don't necessarily get an "interior design" or "architecture" feel... hopefully you have additional ideas here?!?
Second choice has the scripty line encircling my name, entry #4 - though it seems a bit feminine. I work with lots of interior designers, who are primarily female... so this has to be stylish, though more masculine appearing. I really like this direction.
Thanks for the great feedback and comments, always appreciated!
Here is a new iteration of this concept ... I've kept the elegant flourishes, but made it slightly stronger and more masculine.
In terms of my other entry, #5 just to explain my thinking and reasoning ... The icon is made up of two letter "r's" coming together, to form one unit. Its also supposed to symbolise the harmony of two elements in an almost ying yang state, almost like two chairs together. In the negative white space in between the two shapes you also have a holding structure beam.
Thanks so much for your hard work... Entry #16 - something about it is very intriguing... what about the square being a window pane? or framed like a piece of art? I like the rm design - cool
Entry #15 - My #1 rank right now... what if the rm from #16 is inserted there - too much???
