I hope i got on what you are expecting 8 years ago rwmwd commented on #14 Withdrawn Closer, but we don't have mountains in Minnesota to speak of. A few abstract houses or an oak tree maybe? Otherwise, I was looking at some of the other logos you've done, and I'm wondering about working off of the style of the Aloria Health or even NewDayIra designs. 8 years ago rwmwd commented on #4 Withdrawn Consensus is that it's too much like another organization, but nobody can quite place it. 8 years ago rwmwd commented on #3 Withdrawn No problem at all! Much of it is my ability to communicate what we are thinking. As an example of the silhouette I was thinking about, see this one: www.ricecreek.org. 8 years ago AquarianArt commented on #3 Withdrawn Sorry for not getting the design that you expected. I will try my best to do that. Thanks 8 years ago rwmwd commented on #3 Withdrawn This went in a different direction than I was intending. I meant to keep the concept as before, but replace the building outline with a prairie-like feel with one or two familiar silhouettes such as the plants I indicated growing out of the green area. Could you try sketching something like that with a generic sunflower and tall grasses shape? We could fine tune later if we like the look. 8 years ago rwmwd commented on #4 Withdrawn I like this but it's incredibly familiar. I may have led you to design something very similar to another local organization. Let me get back to you later on this. 8 years ago AquarianArt commented on #1 Withdrawn Sure, i'll do that. Thanks for the feedback. 8 years ago rwmwd commented on #1 Withdrawn Strong start!! We like the clean lines, font family and colors, and the elements of sky, land and water being represented. We don't have a great urban skyline in the District, however. Can we try incorporating something else such as a river, river bluff, or the shapes/outlines of native plants (see images for rudbeckia hirta, liatris ligulistylis, koeleria macrantha, ratibida pinnata, schoenoplectus acutus, or schizachyrium scoparium. I'm giving the botanical name because searching the common name can be misleading. Obviously use the best shape or two that works in a design, not all of the above at once.) Perhaps the swoosh that nicely divides the design could turn again downwards to resemble a river? Thank you! 8 years ago
