I Like where #25 and #26 are headed. Can you please show me a version where the "J" dips down a little under the "D" the way "R" does? I'm also curious to see a version where the "s" is higher (like the other designer was experimenting with)! Thanks!!
Hi again, thanks for your feedback, and actually we kinda thinking the same thing. I uploaded these before i left my PC earlier, but ive been doodling on my tablet in the car, the exact things your saying, dropping the J, enlarging DJ etc.. cool :) No worries, i will be back at PC soon so i will upload some revisions for you then :)
Thank you for your updates! Can you make the gradient a little more dramatic in #38? the way it looks now, the bottom tip of the "R" looks like it has a random black tip. Also, I'm at a complete loss as to exactly what the solution to this is but.... can you please also experiment a little with adding some sort of (understated) visual mark that connects the logo to DJing/Turntablism or Radio? Nothing cheesy and traditional like a CD, musical notes, play button, meter levels or stuff like that. Not sure what it is but I'll know it when I see it... MM
Hello Raymer! Thanks for the update! I like the subtlety of your most recent update! I'm curious... I still keep going back to #31. Is there a way you can keep everything the way it is but make the shape of the "J" resemble a turntable tonearm with headshell? Nothing drastic! it just needs to have a little more of that shape, and the headshell shape on the end is important to keep. Here is a sample: http://www.vinylengine.com/images/model/american_audio_htd_4_5_tonearm.jpg Thanks! MM
#51 - I like it but after staring at these things my entire life, the curvature of the arm looks a little off (different widths at different points too it seems...) and the actual headshell looks truncated. I like where we're going with this so please revise. We may need to make the word "radio" bigger to balance out the addition to the letter "J".
WOW! I think you nailed it! Two slight revisions: A) #52, please make the "R" just a little taller to match the height of the "D" B) take that new revision and #52 and please show me what they would look like on a white background like you did in #25
#70 looks a little strange to me having open space on the "D" and the "O" but not in the "R" & "A". Can you please open them up a little somehow to match with a little open space?
Also, can you add a little gradient to the blue? I'm curious as to how that will look. Thanks! You're doing an excellent job!!! MM
On #111, i never realized the background was not pure black until after i uploaded, so i uploaded 112, on 113 i added a 'record' to the end of the arm, but it is very small detail..
