Hey Jesica! Thanks for your submissions! I'd like to stay away from some of the obvious marks like CDs, Records, Stars, and Levels. I do kinda like the way you did the DJs part on two of the photos. Please play more with how Radio can tie into that. Thanks! MM
Things I like about 7, 8, & 9: I like how you put the 's' at the top - creative! The rest of it still feels a little "blade-runnerish" to me. Can you please remove the horizontal line through both words, remove the italics on the font, and make the word 'radio'be the same size as DJs? Thanks for all of your hard work! MM
Hey! I REALLY like #20 but it is missing some small mark that connects it to turntabilsm, DJing, radio, etc.... Something understated... Not exactly sure what that is but I'll know it when I see it!
Hey Jesica! The more look at #20, the more I really like it! Do you have any ideas about adding some sort of mark? I'm excited to see what you come up with!!! :) It's definitely heading in the right direction! MM
Hello Jesica! I'm curious... I still keep going back to #20. Is there a way you can keep everything the way it is but make the shape of the "J" resemble a turntable tonearm with headshell? Nothing drastic! it just needs to have a little more of that shape, and the headshell shape on the end is important to keep. Here is a sample: http://www.vinylengine.com/images/model/american_audio_htd_4_5_tonearm.jpg Thanks! MM
Hey Jesica! My Boss and I LOVE #57! Small revisions: Can you make the tone arm smaller? Also, can you please remove the white base of the tone arm? It seems too busy in that area. Keep the white headshell - Love That! Also, when you make that fix I'd like to see how it looks on a white background. Thanks! I'm excited because I think we're almost there! MM
I'm still REALLY HOT on #61 & #62 but can you please remove the small circles inside of the base of the tone arm? or remove the base completely? It just seems too much.
p.s. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL OF YOUR HARD WORK ON THIS!!! MM
#65 is AWESOME!!! quick questions... What would it look like if... a) the small "s" went back to the bottom OR... b) the cool new "J" was vertical (up and down), a little smaller, and the "s" stayed at the top?
I really like the "s" at the top because it is different and cool but the angle of the tone arm "J" makes it a little crowded up there. Once we fine-tune that I'd also like to see how that would also look on Black. So excited!!! MM
I still really like #65. The only thing holding me back from it being in the #1 spot is I'd like the tone arm to be more vertical. The two main comments I've heard from friends in my office who don't know turntables is:
1) Is that a "J"? Anything we can do to make the tonearm look more like an actual "J", the better... 2) Is the "s" slightly crooked? Since a few people asked me I looked closer. It does kinda seem like it's tilted slightly to the left but I'm not sure if, at this point, the lines are playing tricks on my eyes. Your thoughts??? MM
Thanks Jessica! You are definitely in the driver's seat! I'm almost sold! slight revisions: #81 Can you show me what it would look like if the very top of the "J" was a solid blue block Instead of being separated by the vertical white line)
#80 Eliminate the white horizontal line at the top of the "J" so it is one continuous letter?
Lastly, I'd like to see these revisions on a black background. We're close to perfect and we make a great team!!! MM
