Hi R2 Logo

Hope you can check my variations for your considerations.
#75, #76, #77, #78, #79, #80
Really appreciate if you could give more direction for my logo design.

#80, and #78 are favorites as of now. 80 is close to one of the sketches we envisioned ourselves. 78 is a clever way of utilizing boxes that isn't standard. 78 is preferred over 76 because the larger red box implies (at least to me) thinking outside of the box.

Can we try a variation of #82 with the red 2 is on top?

Can we try a variation of #79 where the light bulb is a little more subtle, like it's plugged into the R rather than a free-standing unplugged bulb like it is now.

Client
Can we also try one like #20 where the Rs are the opposite directions forming more of a square, forming a sort of vesica pisces on the top and an X with the legs?

#167 I like it a lot. Can we give it some sort of serif or something to make it clear they're Rs and not Ps? Probably need to be consistent with the R in the R2MPOWERED too. Or perhaps give the leg for the R in R2 a curve to it similar to the curve it has as part of the vesica piscis.

Client
#171 and #172, not quite. I think I want to get rid of / hide the screw part of the bulb, maybe so only the top thread is showing. I'd really like to look like it's plugged into something. Ideally something like the word "MPOWERED"

Hi White Splash,

We like logo 198, but believes it needs more iterations before its perfect. Can you do even more to accentuate that the R's are not P's. We also believe the logo is on a plainer side and needs a bit more a kick. Anything you could do the circles around the hooped R's to add emphasis? We like the idea of using swooshes/orbitals. (for reference, check the logo that is ranked 9th.

#209 I like the direction. The R's are maybe a little too much now. We liked the subtle / simplicity of before. The swoop / orbit variation is good though, makes it look a little like the infinite symbol. Also looks good on the R in R2.

Can we try similar things without over-emphasizing the Rs?

Perhaps just dial back the line thickness on the letters?

#213 are there any other stylized fonts that might fit better?
Ideally something subtly stylized, and not generically plain, but also not too bold and crazy.

Also, it seems we lost a bit of the vesica piscis due to the angle?

Last minor note, it it would probably be good if the swoop on the R2M part ended up curving into the middle point on the M.

Client
#213 also wondering what it would like if it there wasn't an opening on the edges of the circle. I think both sides should be touching otherwise you lose a lot of the venn diagram / vesica piscis aspect of it.

Client
#213 with the swoops not connecting on the edges it makes it look more suggestive of horns, or a weapon... basically more threatening. We definitely want to avoid that. Hopefully connecting it back up as requested should fix it and make it look more like an orbit.

#214, excellent. Can we thin the logo a bit? We want to keep the edges connected, but perhaps down to 1 or 2 pixels, and then scale / thin the thickness of the lines everywhere else by the same amount including the Rs. Let me know if that makes sense. I think we basically just want to shave off a few pixels from the outside and inside of the lines in the logo including the Rs.

Logo Designer
#215 : decreasing 1 pixel the max i can do, otherwise it will be thinner font and removing edge of circle.

#215 Looks good, the only thing that's off is where the red and blue cross now. That's the one part the thinning hurt, the bigger gaps throw off the illusion they're crossing.

Can we also try to use the font use in #213 just for "MPOWERED" and "Intelligent Marketing", rather than the bold robotic font? Hopefully that looks better.

Client
Someone also suggested putting a frame around it so its self-contained. Putting the logo in a boxed outline. Can we try a variant with that?

Client
Just to be clear, the boxed outline should be around the vesica piscis part so we can use that part as a stand-alone icon.

Client
Just guessing but we'll probably want rounded edges on the boxed outline.

Client
Also probably want it as square as possible so it looks good used as a social media logo, etc.

Excellent. Feels close. Can we try another variation of #217 where the orbits are more like an Ouroboros with the Rs being the heads? Rather than the thinnest part being the outer edges the thinnest part of the orbits would be going back into the Rs.

#220 is good, except the thickness around the full circle is a bit much. Can we try variations where the line thickness varies instead of having a thick line all the way around? I think we'd like a combination of #217 and #220, where it's thinnest at the far edge, then gets a bit larger at the top, and then gets smaller going back into the Rs?

Client
That way it's also not too suggestive of being a snake.

#222 Excellent. I'll review with the rest of the team. In the mean time can we try blowing up the logo portion a little bit and putting the square gray box around the entire thing (both the logo and the R2MPOWERED) for use on social media sites?

#222 is good, is there anything we can do to recapture some of the more venn-diagram / vesica piscis aspect we had in #198 ? Specifically with the leg of the Rs that form the circles.

Logo Designer
#226 : My attempt to make refinement on leg R to increasing height intersect to same height with up. But the problem is the overall shape is not like full circle anymore (especially the bottom part). My difficulty here, if going to same diagram venn, the problem comes when matching the slope on R leg with the circle bottom part connect direction. For example, for the left R leg has to match correctly with the right circle, I have to find the appropriate position to connect both, otherwise it will get weird result when the circle is going to the right direction when meet the R leg part.
I guess #222 is the max i can do.
Perhaps you can give other suggestion....

Looks good, thanks. You could possibly try removing the legs of the R and using more of the circle itself like it kind of looked like you did originally. I can understand finding the right balance is a challenge. We like what you've done with #226. If that's as far as we can take it without making it look bad, we'll work with that.

Client
Might try taking the upper part from something like #217 and flipping it vertically to form the legs of the Rs?

Client
More specifically, using the top part of the circles from #217 to be the new bottom part of the circles including the legs of the Rs for #226? Or was that what you were saying made it look bad?

Logo Designer
#227 : Bottom part taking the circle part from #217 also as R leg part, and the top part from #222 to maintain the R emphasis.
The problem is still same not looks like R originaly especially the R leg part.
I agree with you perhaps the best should be #226 or #222 as the appropriate balance combining visica pisces circle intersect with the R letter.
Really appreciate if could make final decision soon.

For #227, is possible to overlay an image of the vesica piscis, and make sure the circles for the R's align with it. It seems a bit off to us. The goal is to get the perfect balance aspect ratio wise.

Thanks. I think what we were trying to describe was the one exactly in between #228 and #229, where the vesica piscis isn't the inner or outer circle, but running through the middle of both the outer and inner edges.

#230 Excellent! I believe this is the last request, is there anything we can do about the thickness of the leg of the Rs that form the circles? Is it possible we can thin the legs that form the Circles at all without making it look bad? Right now the eyes are drawn to that part because it's so bold, but that's not the part we want people to focus on.

Thanks.
