Love the way the compass is incorporated into the logo design. Instead of gray could you try a gold or metallic color of gold? See previous compass color uploaded.

#6, Still my favorite. Simple, gets the idea across and it's a logo I can put on a letterhead or vinyl on a truck and it does not take up too much space. I like it on black, too.

#5, Second favorite, black for oil is very effective, but would be harder to use on a letterhead

#4, too plain for what I want. I like it with gold better
