Not a bad start. While my initial thought is to attract vacation rentals, my background is heavily in commercial. So for what ever reason I do not like the house. Also, since the industry is trending towards "green certified buildings" I'm thinking of incorporating a green toned logo. I ranked you 3rd at this point as I think the other design with the building is more reflective of where I want to be eventually. I do like the open style letters since they project forward, outside the box thinking. Slogan I'm still thinking about and working on. Ideas and suggestions welcome.

Hi, thank you so much for your feedback. I used a more commercial building in my entry #6, and I added arrows to the Q to represent the idea of sustainability/green building. I'm not sure that I have colors or even the typography quite right for you, but I can definitely work on those things if you think you like where I am going with the Q.

I think I'm looking for something bolder with a modern spin. My initial reaction to the first design was "Oh,
The blue circle with a house in it is a Q" I initially missed it. My thinking now is let's move away from the current design as I don't think it's the right fit. I'm looking for an immediately recognizable logo. I want to project a corporate culture while giving it that laid back upscale dot com feel. In a sense, maybe I'm actually talking about an old school design with "flash and style"? I did comment to one of the other contestants about maybe giving me something linking the letters with a 3 dimensional angle. On a certain level the current logo is oversimplified and reminds me of scandinavian styling (which would work well overseas). The sustainability was nice and unexpected.
