I wanted to incorporate as much as you requested in the brief but not clutter it with too many elements. If the logo becomes too busy, than the brand loses recognition. Rather than having all the element competing for attention i.e.. name, flag, gears, slogan... I combined some of the elements so that the logo would have some cohesion as well as still be able to reproduce well in print.
For #47, I went for a more classic logo simplicity. The "Q" form an elevator with the arrows indicating both up and down. Hope you like them. Your feedback and or revision would be very welcome.
Your logos look very nice and we appreciate all of the thought you put into them! You make a good point about not wanting it to become too busy.
Can we please see a version of entry #46 with both gears colored red white and blue, and positioned on the left side of the company name? Maybe slightly smaller. Can you also increase the font size of the word elevator so it stands out more? We want people to be able to quickly glance at the logo and know that we are an elevator company. Maybe have elevator on it's own line below the word quality. Also we like how you've added an arrow in the letter A, is it possible to keep this but use a different font style? We aren't crazy about the current font. It also might look nice to have a small blue star at the top of the letter I, not sure if that would make the logo look too busy though.
We really like entry #43 as well! We love how it has depth to it. Can we please see it against a white background though? We are looking to put the logo on our new webpage, company vehicles, and documents which wouldn't have a black background. It's ok if you have to adjust the color to the company name and/or gears but we would still like to keep the red, stainless steel, and blue theme.
Thanks for the feedback. I was racing against the clock on this one in hopes too buy time by getting into the TOP 5 phase. During the Top 5 phase only the top 5 "ranked" designer can proceed in the contest. These logo are not as of yet polished. I still need to do the gears so the the cogs are interconnected. My entries currently are to see if my ideas are of interest (they are mock-ups if you will).
I'll work on #46 and hopefully upload before my time runs out. Please keep in mind that these are not final and they only represent ideas that I can develop and clean-up in the next phase.
Please browse my portfolio for other design ideas and if there is a particular "style" logo you like, just let me know and I can create one for you, (not the same design, of course) just the style. :)
Thank you for your submissions. The logos are looking good! Can we please see entry #111 and 109 with stainless steel colored gears. Can you also create a more distinct size difference between the two gears? In addition, we looked through your portfolio and liked the style and font of the soccer viza logo as well as the Kuwait brain training center. We also liked that the Kuwaiti brain training center logo used a line to add to the company name. Can we see a logo similar to these styles please. We would like to have options that are more professional as well as some that are more modern to help us figure out what exactly we're looking for.
Hello, Is the flag a reference to "Made in the USA" or is it just the color scheme you would like to see?
I'll be reworking and polishing up the logos now that I have a couple of days in front of me. :) I want to be sure that the cogs are reduced and that they look correct. I'll also work on incorporating the flag into the gears as an option like I was doing #46, but use an actual representation of the "Stars & Stripes". I want to keep everything so that it does not all but disappear when printed small such as on business cards.
For entry #151, can you please move the red gear to the bottom of the American flag gear? Can you also make the red gear smaller, similar to the the size in our old logo. In addition, could you add a gradient/shine to the company name similar to how you did the word quality in entry #88. We like the colors used for the words in entry #151 though and would like them to stay the same.
I saw that another designer is using my concept of incorporating the flag into the gear, so I just added that design to show what I had in mind. The flag as part of the gears was the concept I was developing as I mention previously. I am currently working on more polished versions and I will upload them ASAP. :)
Here I just uploaded some more polished versions so that we have updated logos to reference. Fell free to request color variations of any layout change you would like. I kept all the elements from the original and feel that they are now combined to look as they all belong. Your thoughts would be appreciated.
By the way, I have not forgotten about your other suggestions in reference to some of my previous logos in my portfolio. I just wanted to be sure that it was understood by the other designers that I have not given up on my concept of embedding the flag into the gear :)
I like where this is going. Also like the style of the gears in #159! Can i please see # 159 with a different font style and can you show the words quality elevator on one line, and company, inc. on the second line. Can you position the words so their straight on rather than at an angle. Can you also make the color of the word quality blue. Can we see a version of this with the flag gear and a version with only stainless steel gears.
For #158 would you rather see more stars or complete flag? The current flag in #158 is simplified, but I can alter that as you wish.
I also present a few more logo. I am trying to make sure that the logo is dynamic. Even though elevators just go up and down, I want to incorporate a sense of movement.
I also designed some with the gears as stars in keep with the USA theme and for #171 I pulled one of the the cogs to create the letter "Q".
Oops, forgot to mention that on all the latest gears I fixed them from the previous versions. It may seem like a small detail, but since your target is "in the know", I felt it's important that the gears actually work together and not bind. :)
Thank you for all of your submissions! You've got a lot of great ideas! Can we please see #157 with stainless steel gears, and the company name in the color black. We'd also like to see the word elevator a little bigger so it stand out more. We want people to be able to glance at our logo and know that we are an elevator company. Can we also see #162 with the outline of the emblem as a gear? Similar to our old logo. Can you add the word elevator inside the emblem as well. For #170, Can you please move the gears to the left side of the logo and make the word elevator slightly larger. Also can we see a version of #167 with the company name not at an angle. Thanks!
Can we see #186 with the words popping out of the gear like they do in #184, and with the word quality changed to black? Can we also see #187 with the word popping out of the gear with quality in dark blue and elevator company in red.
No problem, however you will need to do a musical chairs act in the "Judging Phase". While in judging only first rank will have a submit button available to them. If changes are required form any designer, they need to be ranked first, so they can upload, and then you can re-rank as you see fit. Hope that made sense. :)
Admin can help if you have any questions on how that works.
Thank you for the revisions, we are liking them a lot! When you get a chance, can we please see #196, #194, and #189 with the second gear like #192 has?
We are leaning toward entry #210! Can we see it with the word elevator slightly larger, the word company abbreviated to co. like in our original logo, and "inc." inside the smaller gear like with our original logo. Thanks!!
