This design is excellent. Can you add something indicating sound or music? I know you cannot use the design from the competition for the meters in the background. But maybe you can come up with something that would indicate the same idea.

Here, I created something outside the box...I'm thinking what if i used their Initial to create an icon?then this pop-up in my mind...The letter C from cyclone and P from phoenix...You can see the letter C in the white color while the P is in the negative space to create a Vinyl in the center...I hope you like it...

definitely like the hollowed out flames better, but this size flame is perfect - i think the larger ones might be too bulky. Awesome job!

i guess it can be printed in tshirt through digital print....also we can simplify the design if it printed using a silkscreen

i like the way is looks on screen, but i'm a little worried how it will look on let's say, a t-shirt or something.

I guess your right... it's better to put your name in it rather than the tagline....ummm about the fire/jellyfish i can make it better..thanks for pointing it out...

I definitely like it better with our DJ names on the bottom lol, my partner is leaning towards the slogan but I will win him over haha. The added details in the flame is pretty neat, kinda looks like a jelly fish. I will ask him when he gets home.

and here's where i make the design more cool..I did make the phoenix more energetic like there is a electric current in the body that represent to electrify the crowd....

This also is a great design, this is the exact rich orange I was thinking of when I mentioned orange. The reason I ranked the other one first is because I liked the placement better of everything. But this is very sleek. I know it's hard to incorporate a cyclone type design into an emblem and this "breaking vinyl" is a cool way to represent it.

we really like this one! i'm not sure if we like the slogan on the bottom or - maybe try putting the names of the DJs. Can I see both? the typeface is perfect. I am always a fan of pink and you picked the perfect pink. My partner loves the chrome. It's a great concept. Definitely going in the right direction.

here's another concept..I actually used the phoenix bird while the cyclone/tornado represent the destroyed disc...

my concept is base on your brief..i used it in abstract manner...as a phoenix....i used flames to represent it... as a cyclone..i used to distort or destroy the dj disc that represent it
