Through this logo tournament, I want to explore a variety of graphic symbols to express hope, courage and transformation. This is a new image that I have not thought of before. It is both complex and simple.
I like the movement and color in the graphic. The subtle yin/yang within the sun logo is vibrant. I like the use of color in the outer "rain droplets".
Suggestions: I would like to explore having the colors of the text lines echo the colors of the graphic. I would like to see other options for the font size and font type to make it easier to read. That is, text line 1 being larger and in a font that is more gentle to the eye. This current text line 1 (Psychiatric Wellness Center)is a bit "boxy"
Thank you for entry #20. I like this new design element. It appears to me to be a flower bud preparing to open. Do you have any more information on this flower. Is it meant to be a lotus bud or some other flower?
I like the font size and type in text line 1 and 2. Could you please change text line 2 to read "For Children, Adolescents and Adults, PA"
I like the circle around the flower bud. Could it be the same or similar color to the text line 2 ( blue).
Good Morning Dr.Tom, sorry if i am late to answer your message, cause we have different time.I hope you'll understand Acctually, my new design in entry #20 just my imagine to explained Top Three Things to Communicate your logo. That's right this is a flower bud but doesn't has forsythia specific like lotus or other. my flower bud interprets as hope and strength that grow in self for better (described yellowness colour).That's my simple description of logo. Thank you for entry #61. I like the overall exotic feel to the logo with both the graphic and the text lines contributing. I like your interpretation of the blue water ripple around the outside tapering at between the "1 o'clock and 3 o'clock" position.
My suggestions for #61: 1) make the second text line "For Children, Adolescents & Adults, PA" . Thus, use "&" rather than "and" in this line. It gives more visual space for the ", PA". 2) make the second text line darker so it is easeir to read. Perhaps making the second line text "bold". 3) try making the blue flower petals (now resting upon dark green leaves) a different color. I was thinking of the light green and medium green colors you used in #5 and #9. Then only the inner flower would be blue. Thus the logo would have dark green leaves underneath the flower as they are in #61 now. But the next layer of flower petals would be alternating colors of light green, medium green, etc.
My suggestions for #37 is to use the second text line of #20 (which uses the "&" rather than the "and").

#83 I like the darker blue color of the text line 1. To my eyes, it is easier to read #84 I like the green leaves. I like the easier to read text line 1.
Suggestions: 1) #84 Please change the color of text line 1 ("Psychiatric Wellness Center") to dark blue (like the text line 1 in # 83). 2) #84 Please change the color of text line 2 ("For Children, Adolescents & Adults, PA" to a dark green the color of the leaves in #84.
