I like this idea and the colors. The hand across the middle is good though it is hard to tell that it is grasping another hand. Also, the don't really like the circle heads for the children, so perhaps something closer to the image of the the woman above (though clearly children).
We really like #9, with one small exception: Is it possible to make the bottom hand look as if it is grasping the top hand. Now, it sort of looks like the top hand (coming from the right) is pulling the left hand rather than shaking or holding it in solidarity (which is, of course, what we want to express).
We like the images of the women and children and that there is a sense of protection (the hands) and of hopefulness (the images of the women and children).
I am trying to communicate with the Program Coordinator of the PEWC program, who is out of touch for a few days in New Zealand. If we agree before the end of the deadline today to accept this logo, can we continue to adapt a little in the next few days so her feedback can be included?
