Can you try this one with a bottle or can (or both) inside the loop instead of the state. Can we stylize one or both of the Rs in the words to look like the state?
I like the concept of the state working into the loop. I'm not crazy about the colors (too much like fire and our state does tend to burn in the summer!) and not quiet on the eyes.
