Sorry, as long as the contest is not allowed to provide an email address, you can upload your competitor's logo in the brief. so all designers can see it. so that the contest runs fairly. thanks.
Hey, are you allowed to share your email address with me that I might email you some logos of our competitors? Here's the deal, first off, I am not the one who gets to make the final decision. My boss is. I work for him, and set this logo tournament up at his request. I have been gunning for you ever since I saw your first designs. Here are our concerns. We want people to know what we do just by seeing our logo. But how is this possible? Do we need to add a slogan or something? When you think of sound systems, projection video systems and stage lighting like at concerts and stuff, what do you think of? I want your idea. Can you come up with that WOW factor for us? If you need a slogan or anything, you can use something like "Audio & Video Specialists". Thanks for your work!!
I just asked for advice from the staff for the background you want, and he gave advice
"Really, you need to make that grille. The vector stock is copyrighted.
But there is problem using a grille made by you along with the design as part of the background. Not sure why the client wants it, but it's not wrong.
Is that reasonable?"
with that advice, should you use a solid background for this contest. thanks
in fact the rules in logotournament are not recommended to use complicated backgrounds, even though it is permitted as mentioned in the rules below.
"BACKGROUNDS - White, Black, or Solid is best. Elaborate backgrounds (ie grunge, painted etc.) are allowed but not recommended. Do not show designs on buildings, vehicles etc. We may remove designs that look unprofessional."
For kicks and giggles could you do one like this with the black background being a speaker grill? I will post a picture for example in the files uploaded section. Thanks!
