Inasmuch as I very much like this design, we may be able to say: Flower, if we add a little green stem (just to the bottom of the flower image).

I don't believe this would be identified as a flower.

If i understand correctly you need a version very simple/basic of this flower , with some leaves attached , so it looks like a flower a bit more clearly.

would you be able to add some greenery at the base to clearly establish this is a flower? My network's survey review has commented that they think it looks like a sea creature. That is not at all a failure on your part, I think you've done very well. I believe it is an American lack of familiarity with this flower. I believe we want to keep it relatively simple, and basic, but something to clearly say: flower.

excellent flower, David! best i've seen yet. I'd like to work on the font and try a version with the flower on the left.
Font: I'd like a more contemporary feeling (in my mind) thin lined font, rather than bold.
