Thank you, Mare. Unfortunately I have two main issues with #5 - the up & down letters speak "playful" to me rather than strong & self-assured. And the roundness of the o's is in contrast to the actual shape of musical noteheads, in such a way that looks like they were conceived by a non-musician. I'm open to a logo that integrates musical graphical elements, but I'm not expecting it because I think it is extremely difficult to use them well - most often to me they wind up conveying a very cheesy quality. Partially because musical typesetting (of notes, etc.) is a skill that most designers do not have.
PS my wife liked yours the most of the entries we've gotten. It has a nice modern quality. Unfortunately, I have to be really careful with the reactions of musicians - she's not one. thanks again, Anton
I like the idea of the piano lid in #44 a lot. Thank you! But for me the font conjures images of Broadway ("A Chorus Line") and jazz in the era of disco. Did you have a chance to look at the document I posted? The fonts used there convey a look that is more currently and a bit edgy. Also, I'm not a fan of so much red. (Interesting that so many people are submitting red. I wonder if it's because I said "strong.") best wishes, Anton
