Very elegant designs, Mahmur!! Well done. I think it would be perfect (and I don't say that lightly at all) if I were playing classical music, or jazz geared toward purely formal events. But I'm going for something that has a bit more edge to it as well. Thank you for the close-to-the-deadline entry. I'm very busy today with other things as well, so I'm going to see if I may be able to extend the competition... regards, Anton
Thanks for the quick response! #179 is nice, but not as grabbing to me as #176, and I would love to find something that combined aspects of both. Not easy, I know! Also, I generally tend toward fonts with less of an "avant garde" roundform look. Not sure exactly why. Thanks again. regards, Anton
Thank you for the modifications, Mahmur. Unfortunately, for me the genius of #173 and #176 is how perfectly the type and the graphic are suited for each other, complement each other, and flow together. The other fonts just don't have the same synergy. Nor do they have the coolness and edginess of #179.
I wish I could start a classical music company called proof just to use #173 or #176!
best regards, Anton PS As you can see, I extended the contest a bit and increased the winning payment a bit too.
