We love the click finger/button, because you're capturing the technological aspect of our product, are there any other / newer symbols for this? more web 2.0 / 3.0 for instance. Also can we please see this in a red/black/grey colour scheme.
haha - whoops - sorry about the typo! Browser-wise, I think everyone's "pointer" is still the hand/finger...so I think it will be current for a long time (since it's an established icon).
I'll change the typo and color scheme and have something up in a few minutes :)
Hi - I changed the hand pointer a little to make feel a bit more dynamic. Here are some variations - I tried making the blip/pulse more like an RSS feed...but I think it loses its "last-minute" feel like it had in the previous version. If you have any more ideas/tweaks/revisions that you'd like to see, please just let me know :)
wow josh, you're fast :) Again, what we love about your designs is that you're the only one incorporating food and technology together. The rss feed is actually not bad, but there is something missing and I cannot put my finger on it. same thing with the clicker. should we try an arrow?
I don't know, I feel like we've got something going here, but also something is off. what do you think??
I did consider the arrow, but I lost the fork/food aspect. Personally, I think the element of internet-food deals is more explanatory than the time element. I think most people who utilize these sorts of deals "get it" with regards to buying at the right time, etc. (through living social, groupon, etc.)
