Yes. Normally we need to make the grey lighter or absolutely white to make it standout on black background.

Ok! It looks good on black background.
Maybe it is not possible to have a logo that works with both white and black? For me its ok to have two logos that is almost the same.

No. The grey is lighter. 40% of the same grey tint.

This one could be really good!
I like how you have got the letters P,t and c in the symbol, but the symbol look much the same as the swedish "Bank-id" (you can google bank-id)
