Hello. My idea is derived from old Roman institution called "praetor" who was the highest court official. Since when you are all things IT and I assume you are good and high level of it then this theme would fit. Where name "praetas" really come from?
Yes, great question. Praetas is a play on "Praetorian" which was the elite guard in ancient Rome. They lent their allegience to the ruling party and kept everything running efficiently. Like the Praetorians, we let the business owners run the show, but we are the real ones who make sure things run smoothly. ;)
Thanks, that's great. To be honest, I started off from "praetorian" myself on this logo because I knew that they were emperor's elite guards. I couldn't connect them with your business right away and I couldn't read that out from your old logo either. Only hint that referred to that era was the font choice. So I moved to "praetor" which seemed a more business oriented term. But your explanation is great, I see it well now how you connect to praetorians. Laurel used in logo is also symbolizing care, like hands wrapped around the device. Do you have any comments/suggestions on the logo proposal? Thanks!
Made a bit more modern laurel. Please keep me in top five as I am not able to submit more designs before end. I can submit new designs in 3 hours time. Thanks!
