I am going to hold off ranking your design, though if I did it would be in the top 5. Here are my thoughts.
- Practice Builder Academy should be in one color ... say reddish orange.
- The tag line should be in a different color ... the gray you have now seems to work.
- I am imagining that the circle is formed by an abstraction of four individuals, yes? I like it ... a lot. But it seems like the people have four arms. Can you fix that?

No problem thanks for feedback, Is #36 closer to what you want?

#36 is now number 1 ... thank you for the quick turnaround. Where in the US do you live?

Based on what you read in the design brief, what is your personal opinion of the red/orange colors versus the blue/green colors?

I'm CST here so it's getting late but can do more tomorrow. I like both color combos. Also like blue and orange together. I kind of favor a yellow orange color more than a bright yellow.

#39 same thing in blue-green just so you can compare.

Thanks for #39. I would like to see a blue/orange combo. If you are going to do the blue/green, the green should be darker - see the example design I uploaded. THANKS!

As the contest ends you will see more entries where the designer mimics my idea of circled people since it has been ranked at the top for much of the contest. They aren't supposed to do that when the contest holder did not mention wanting circled people but then likes it once it is introduced. One entry in particular comes from a designer who routinely does this.

Hey there. You are in my top 5 designers and your designs are still my first choice. Thanks for your time.

I would like to continue working with #36 and #49. You tell me where, as a designer, you think I might be off-base.

In both designs, I would like to see the people forming the circle having more vibrant colors.
A lot of designers had submissions with orange and gray, but I never thought of that combination. Is there something better for the tag line in #36?
In #49 I would like the tag line in green ... in fact, please see the dark blue and green colors I chose for the design that I uploaded as an example.

Thanks for YOUR help.

Glad to help and will work with other colors. As a designer, the tag line isn't very important and not part of the logo but we put it there when the contest holder wants so you can see what your slogan and logo look like together. Lots of times slogans change or are used apart from the logo. So as designers, slogans are the least important aspect of design and we will make it any color you ask for.

I have several entries here with different color combos. I cloned the blue and green from your sample. Gray is a good mix with yellows because too much yellow and orange looks too bright for most tastes. Blues and greens are easier to use withtout gray because dark blue is easier to read for things like slogans.

Great job! I hope I am not crossing over into the area of being a pita.

I like the people colors of #112 and would like to see that replicated in #114.
And when you do that could you separate the joining arms of the people in both designs by a couple of more pixels of white space so it is easier to see (in my mind) the individual figures.

Also, I am traveling from Jasper, Alberta to Seattle and will have limited access to the internet until Sunday evening. So if you don't hear from me until then, that's why. I feel like your designs are safely in the lead :-)

Ooops. One follow up question ... what font(s) are you using for PBA and the tag line and why did you pick those?

Logo Designer
No problem with the changes, I'll have them for you by the time you are back. The main font is Trajan, which is on many computers, and the tag is just Times. I like them because they work with a lot of other fonts without competing.

#121 #122 and #123 include the changes you asked for plus all gray type, which highlights colors of circled people.

Last change ... on #121 - can you un-italicize the tag line?

I know the contest has ended, but are you allowed to keep submitting revisions?

Yes, coming right up.

Another concept rip

Wow ... we've come a long way. Are you going to catch any flak for one more submission that would only have 3 people in a circle instead of 4? The reason I ask is that there already is a submission with 3 people - but they are facing away from each other ... which, oddly enough, I like but conveys the opposite notion of the collaboration that I want to project. Anyway, if you can you can.

I don't think so since circled people was my concept to begin with and others began to copy it after you ranked mine first.

I am going to declare you the winner just to end the drama. The 3-person circle makes me think of a huddle, which is the collaborative element I was looking for. I would like to see another design with a more vibrant color for the third person ... blue, green, and ???

Ending drama is always good! FYI, colors can be adjusted later after the contest if you want to because all the files you get are editable by your vendors, web designer, etc. but I can do it as well.
