One last change, last word “极客” is it possible to do a little bit of optimization, like using a yellow background, white font 4 years ago DevRen commented on #81 version without arrow. 4 years ago DevRen commented on #80 Withdrawn I agree. my recommendation is the 2 colors without arrow. the arrangement of the bar already show ascencion. but for website you can use the third color. The logo doesnt have to have all of the details 4 years ago ryan-gao commented on #80 Withdrawn Thanks, I think I'm torn between two options. The arrows give a positive connotation, but the previous design seems to be simpler. so let me reconsider 4 years ago DevRen commented on #80 Withdrawn What do you think? I think additional green is also good. since ascending graph should be green opposite to red :) 4 years ago ryan-gao commented on #72 Withdrawn sorry for the misleading, It has the same edges as the #65, everything else is the same as the #72. another change is Replacing the word Geek with the Chinese word 极客,The words Power BI in black and 极客 in yellow. I like the yellow gradient for the logo, can you use this gradient effect for "极客" as well? 4 years ago DevRen commented on #72 Withdrawn here's some color suggesion 1. Black-Yellow-gray 2. Black-Yellow-Orange 3. Black-Yellow-Blue what do you think ? 4 years ago DevRen commented on #72 Withdrawn sorry, what do you mean by the right angle? is it opposite to rounded box ? 4 years ago ryan-gao commented on #72 Withdrawn Hi DevRen I compared the rounded transition to the right angle transition and found the right angle is more durable, can you change back to the right angle on the #72? I have two small changes to make on top of that 1. Add an ascending line graph with an arrow at the end in the direction of the bar chart. 2.whether it is possible to change the black color of the bar chart to another color, because I want to make the color scheme of the website and the style of the logo the same, only two colors may make the website color is too single, do not know what color can be with black and yellow, can you give me some advice? 4 years ago DevRen commented on #72 Withdrawn Just like your previous logo that use rounded box heheh 4 years ago ryan-gao commented on #72 Withdrawn ha, I like it 4 years ago DevRen commented on #73 Withdrawn tilted a little 4 years ago DevRen commented on #72 Withdrawn Rounded edge? 4 years ago ryan-gao commented on #65 Withdrawn thanks, you are right , this one is better than #63 4 years ago DevRen commented on #65 Withdrawn Adjusting ne graph making it more powerfull because it show inclining concept 4 years ago DevRen commented on #65 Withdrawn Since the graphic show a lot of meaning, I suggest using simpler text like this. Just my 2 cents 4 years ago DevRen commented on #65 Withdrawn I think giving global concept to text will just make the logo too busy and too many details. and make the focus of the design separated between symbol and text 4 years ago DevRen commented on #63 Withdrawn New graph arrangement, M-DAX and also orbital design added 4 years ago ryan-gao commented on #36 Withdrawn I like the current design of #36, the column chart may need to be rearranged a bit, and the font on the right could keep this slim type. The Earth icon returns to the letter o. I have a new idea to add a sloping, wraparound line to the word Geek, with a dot drawn in the upper right corner of the line to represent the Earth. like a planet orbiting Geek. hope my description is clear enough. 4 years ago ryan-gao commented on #36 Withdrawn Hi DevRen In phase 2, I would like to provide some further information for the selected designers. As a BI tool, powerbi consists of a combination of three components that perform data cleansing, data analysis and data visualization. The existing bar graph in the logo can represent data visualization, while data cleansing can be represented by the letter M and data analysis can be represented by DAX. M and DAX are the two languages used by Power BI. I feel that if the letter M and DAX could be added to the logo, it would greatly increase the legibility of the logo. In addition, DAX is a little more important than M. If there is not enough space and you can only add one, you can use DAX 4 years ago DevRen commented on #43 Withdrawn Welcome back :) I just woke up 4 years ago DevRen commented on #43 Withdrawn sounds great! I never thought on the middle finger. but some arrangement can avoid that subtle image. I'll wait your next feedback regarding the font choice :) 4 years ago ryan-gao commented on #43 Withdrawn Yes, that's what I imagined. But it doesn't look as comfortable as it did before. The reason I wanted to add the thin yellow line is because the previous one looked like it was giving the middle finger... Maybe a different arrangement would solve the problem. Regarding the font, I still like the skinny font used in #24, the round ones don't look good, but then it seems hard to use the Earth icon ,let me think about it . btw, I still like the design, I'd select you to go to the next stage and make a few local changes then! 4 years ago DevRen commented on #43 Withdrawn Like this ? 4 years ago ryan-gao added annotation for #37 Withdrawn You can add a thin yellow line stroke to each column of the black bar chart here, and it now looks like a whole. But don't separate the columns. 4 years ago ryan-gao added markup for #37 Withdrawn 4 years ago DevRen commented on #24 Withdrawn Please check my newest variations. I hope you like it. 4 years ago DevRen commented on #37 Withdrawn More rounded font to fit globe shape 4 years ago DevRen commented on #36 Withdrawn Like this ? 4 years ago DevRen commented on #38 Withdrawn Simplified symbol on the left 4 years ago ryan-gao commented on #24 Withdrawn I think line art is fine, So the icon does not stand out compared to the other letters, i.e. you can see that it is the Earth, but it still has the shape of the O. Don't make it a power button, thanks 4 years ago DevRen commented on #24 Withdrawn Also, what if I make the "O" as power button ? 4 years ago DevRen commented on #24 Withdrawn it is do able. do you want more realistic globe or just line art? 4 years ago ryan-gao commented on #24 Withdrawn I like this one! The black pillars with the yellow tracing might be better, now that they're in one piece. Can the letter O be replaced with a globe icon, which means the site can be accessed from around the world? 4 years ago DevRen commented on #24 Withdrawn Thank you! do you have certain feedback ? 4 years ago DevRen commented on #26 Withdrawn Thank you! Any feedback? I can make the bar more rounded to make it similar with your original bars 4 years ago ryan-gao commented on #26 Withdrawn thanks for your work, these are great ideas! 4 years ago ryan-gao commented on #7 Withdrawn Gear is interesting, but it doesn't seem to be directly related to data or charts 4 years ago ryan-gao commented on #8 Withdrawn Thank you, the logo is too simple and the font on the left is too crowded 4 years ago
