Welcome. I used negative space to refer to a portico. It is very web friendly, while it still maintains a clean classic look.

Hey Tilly...thanks for submitting. I like it very much...more subtle than most of what I've seen so far. Did you go to Florida? I have several friends that went there.

Can I see it with the words Property Management the same length as Portico please? I'd just like to see it both ways.

Thanks,
dw

Darren - No Im not a UF alum. I grew up within a short drive of Gainesville and like you had many friends attend there. I went to my first game in The Swamp in 1982 as a little kid and still get back there every year, from my home in coastal NC. I chose a different path that worked out very well for me, But I love the Gators and the school and the area nonetheless.

I have submitted the change that you requested. I actually think the new way may be more balanced, so good call by you.

Thanks for the feedback, let me know if there is anything else I can do.

Here are some variations on the theme....

This one adds a second color...

A little more simple, straighter lines , less movement... Very distinguishable from a distance due to its lack of small detail and its lack of curves and diagonals. One thing to consider is when you back away from a bunch of designs which ones remain recognizable and which ones tend to blur out. This can be a big factor in your choice. Now imagine your signage being seen from a distance....more white space, wider lines, these all help keep your logo recognizable.

Thanks Tilly...all very good. Here are a couple of thoughts:

-Like that you made the P the same size as the rest of the letters and made them all even.
-Like the gold color with the splash of color in #78 but prefer the more modernist, straight edge from your previous entry #46. It appears you added some curves on the bottom of the roof. Can I see the same concept color-wise with the old straight edge line?

-Also I like the font on Portico but would like to see one with more of a block letter.
Good advice in your last post...you are definitely in the top three...like many of your thoughts.

Thanks,
dw

Thanks Tilly, after looking at all of them, #46 is still my fave.

Can I see that one with the font type of the block style of #116. Also, can you keep it more of a solid blue on dark blue on the font please? I like the fade but am worried about consistently recreating it.

Thanks,
dw

Here you go. After looking at them both side by side here, I think the block may fit the logo better, while the other font gives it a classic look. So I like them both for different reasons.... You can have both font types either way. I can just e-mail you the other one should you choose mine, so don't let the font be a factor, they are interchangeable.

Hey Paul, thanks for the reminder, was travelling all day yesterday.

Can I see the logo (both #46 and #123) in a darker shade of blue, more navy?

Thanks,
dw

Darren - No problem at all, but I am out of the studio all day, and wont be back until this evening.
Your files are on the computer in my studio.
I'll upload it then. It will only take a couple of minutes to do once I get back.
Look for the changes before 10pm tonight.

Thanks,
Paul

No problem at all. It's between you and one other designer. I'm going to ask them for one tweak and then I'll make my decision. Thanks again for your responsiveness. Have a great night.

Tilly, I'm sorry but I went with another design. I liked yours very much...obviously, and placed you second. I think you are very talented and appreciate all of your help.

Good luck,
