Taking a break to watch our Atlanta Hawks hopefully win this game three! Once I upload the files for the full color version, and you approve them, I will email you the black-and-white version. : ) 3 years ago PorchLightVR commented on #116 I chose the color version as the contest winner! We would still like to have the black & white version, too. How do we go about that? Thank you again for your INCREDIBLE work on this logo - we are SO VERY HAPPY with the final product!! THANK YOU! 3 years ago PorchLightVR commented on #115 THE FINAL VERSION!!! HOORAY!!! 3 years ago janisart commented on #116 #116 Solid color version. : ) 3 years ago janisart commented on #115 #115 Voila, here's the color version. 3 years ago PorchLightVR commented on #114 Withdrawn Janis, Thanks for trying this out. I think we do not want to keep the porch light. we do want to keep the sans serif Oregon USA. Then...perfection!! :) 3 years ago janisart commented on #114 Withdrawn #114 Color version with light element between 'PORCH and LIGHT', simpler, sans serif font for 'OREGON, USA' 3 years ago janisart commented on #113 Withdrawn #113 Small light detail in between 'PORCH and LIGHT', simpler, sans serif font for 'OREGON, USA'. 3 years ago janisart commented on #112 Withdrawn I'm working on this one just a bit more. 3 years ago janisart commented on #112 Withdrawn #112 Added small light detail in between porch and light. Also have Oregon, USA in the simpler, sans serif font. 3 years ago PorchLightVR commented on #111 Withdrawn I completely agree. Thanks for giving it a shot! 3 years ago PorchLightVR commented on #108 Withdrawn Perfect! Thank you again for your work on this! 3 years ago janisart commented on #108 Withdrawn I’ll try it and send a it over over, it’ll probably be tomorrow. Fresh eyes and coffee. : ) 3 years ago janisart commented on #111 Withdrawn I agree with you, I think the simpler font works better for Oregon, USA. I’ll try your husband‘s idea of putting the little porch light in between the words, I don’t want it to get too cluttered. Negative space is really important to the overall balance of the design. 3 years ago PorchLightVR commented on #111 Withdrawn Love this one, too. It is perfect for etching! And it will work great for staff t-shirts, hats, etc. THANK YOU!! 3 years ago PorchLightVR commented on #108 Withdrawn I think this is the one with the exception of the simpler font on the Oregon, USA part. I do like the white caps on the waves and everything else is great. Do you have input on the porchlight icon idea? 3 years ago PorchLightVR commented on #111 Withdrawn My husband wonders if it would anchor the whole logo to have a small porch light icon between the words "Porch" and "Light" in the center. Thoughts? 3 years ago PorchLightVR commented on #111 Withdrawn Thank you for asking...I think I prefer to simpler, sans serif font. I think it makes Porch Light stand out more. 3 years ago janisart commented on #111 Withdrawn #110 Shows 'Oregon, USA' in the simpler, sans serif font. 3 years ago janisart commented on #111 Withdrawn I found this website to try out the etching thing, looks like it would work perfectly. You can just decide what color you want on the glass. Showing you this in black and white so that you can see all the details. Do you prefer this font for Oregon, USA or the simpler one? https://www.discountmugs.com/product/5414al-cheap-wine-glasses/ 3 years ago janisart commented on #108 Withdrawn Thank you! I know this will design will print well on whatever you need, I haven't dealt with a lot of etching, but if you know what company you are going to use, I could check with their website to see if they have guidance, especially with the smaller details like the stars and 'OREGON, USA'. Let me see how this one translates in one solid color. If it looks good, you could use as a background image or watermark on stationary, or it would work just like it is. For a biz card, I would put the logo on one side and on the back side all the details (name, phone, etc.) I'll do some research on the glass etching. 3 years ago PorchLightVR commented on #108 Withdrawn Janis, I'm waiting to hear from my business partner but you TOTALLY ROCKED this logo!!! This is EXACTLY what I had in mind! Thank you so much! Now, here's a funny question. Is there a way to simplify this for letterhead, business cards, etc.? Also, do you think this would transfer alright to etching on wine glasses or printing on gift bags? 3 years ago janisart commented on #109 Withdrawn #109 Exploring options for the water detail, changed font on 'OREGON, USA' 3 years ago janisart commented on #108 Withdrawn #108 Playing around with the wave element 3 years ago janisart commented on #107 Withdrawn #107 On this one the wave is dark blue, and I've increased the size of Oregon, USA, reduced the grapevine element just a bit. 3 years ago janisart commented on #106 Withdrawn #106 Here's the updated design. If you want Oregon, USA larger, I'll rearrange the grapevine graphic. Let me know your thoughts, also about the wave detail. 3 years ago janisart commented on #103 Withdrawn Your feedback is so important and I appreciate it! I want to get the design perfect, and this is what it takes. I'll update the designs with these current comments and send over shortly. You can choose one as the winner and after the contest closes we can discuss any optional designs you might want. : ) The small changes you are asking for should not be a big deal at all. 3 years ago janisart commented on #105 Withdrawn #105 Here's another option for the solid color design, would be beautiful on glass. : ) 3 years ago PorchLightVR commented on #103 Withdrawn Hello again, Janis, Thank you so much for working with us. You did exactly what we had in mind. This is all "becoming" for us while you work on it (sorry!) so I have a few more tweaks: 1. Could you put Porch Light Vacation Rentals back in the middle of this one with a small Oregon, USA under it? 2. Could you add a either an overlay or knock-out breaking wave below the ridge line of the mountain? 3. How do we pick all of yours as our winner - and shouldn't we pay you extra for the additional logos? Thank you SO much, Janis! 3 years ago janisart commented on #103 Withdrawn #103 I've made both subtitles a bit larger and corrected the website address. Also, Oregon, USA is smaller. I'll be here all day if you have any additional requests. Thanks! Janis 3 years ago janisart commented on #90 Withdrawn Got it! I'll work on that and send over shortly. 3 years ago PorchLightVR commented on #90 Withdrawn Thank you so much. This is great! Two changes: 1) the website is www.stayporchlight.com 2) could the letters around the edge be a bit larger and the middle words be a bit smaller? 3 years ago janisart commented on #88 Withdrawn #88 Same as 1st ranked design except I've made a little tiny improvement on the grapevine detail. 3 years ago janisart commented on #89 Withdrawn #89 One solid color, you could do any color, gold, silver, raspberry. 3 years ago janisart commented on #90 Withdrawn #90 I think this is what you requested, let me know if I need to make any changes. 3 years ago janisart commented on #75 Withdrawn Absolutely. I’ll send over a new design/s with your requests to make sure I have it right. 3 years ago PorchLightVR commented on #75 Withdrawn Thank you so much for your work on this logo!! We really, really appreciate it! 3 years ago PorchLightVR commented on #75 Withdrawn Thanks for this simpler option. We are thinking that we would like three variations on this theme: 1. One that is very simple (one color) to use for engraving on wine glasses or putting on gift bags. 2. One like this. 3. One adjusted for marketing - along the edge of the circle (bottom half) www.stayporchlight.com, along the edge of the circle (top half) Wine ~ Woods ~ Waves, and through the middle Oregon, USA. Does this make sense? Can we do that? 3 years ago janisart commented on #75 Withdrawn #75 Here's a simpler design that reflects the vineyard aspect. 3 years ago janisart commented on #74 Withdrawn #74 I'll continue working on my design, looking for the perfect graphic balance for the vineyard/wine element. 3 years ago janisart commented on #50 Withdrawn Trying out a new font, separated Porch from Light 3 years ago janisart commented on #53 Withdrawn #53 Here's my design with vineyard/grapes element. It's late here on the East coast, will pick this back up tomorrow with fresh eyes. 3 years ago janisart commented on #9 Withdrawn Thank you for your feedback, I’ll make those changes and upload a new design soon. 3 years ago janisart commented on #4 Withdrawn Absolutely! I’ll work on this and send it over as soon as it’s perfect! 3 years ago PorchLightVR commented on #4 Withdrawn Its this one, Janis. WE LOVE IT!! Can you adjust to include grapes/wine/vineyards instead of the evergreens? 3 years ago PorchLightVR commented on #9 Withdrawn Also, Janis, the mountain logo you sent to us (with the evergreen trees on the bottom and mountain on top) we LOVED but it was very alpine. Could you replace the evergreens with vineyards or grapevines or grape clusters? 3 years ago PorchLightVR commented on #9 Withdrawn We like the clever nature of this logo (grapes as the light is brilliant). However, could we separate the words Porch and Light? Also, our feedback is that the "i" is confusing. Could a font be found that doesn't include that? 3 years ago janisart commented on #4 Withdrawn Thanks for your feedback. 3 years ago PorchLightVR commented on #4 Withdrawn Janis, Thank you for the beautiful logo submission. I really like it. However, because the bulk of our properties are in Wine Country, I think this logo is too alpine focused for us. 3 years ago janisart commented on #4 Withdrawn #4 Hi. Here's my proposal for your logo project. Thanks in adance for your consideration and feedback is appreciated. Warm regards, Janis 3 years ago
