I am looking for a coat of arms style logo. The restaurant will be a representation of various styles of barbeque form the southern United States, however it will be located in South Louisianan so I will have a Cajun Creole Identity. Some of the images that will define the restaurant include: A rig, fire/smoke, fleur de lis or a chef’s knife.
Overall I am looking for something more rustic looking.
1. I really like the wood grain shield. I actually like the softer frame of the shield in entry #16. 2. I think that the motto on the banner should be in black font so that is stands out more. 3. Maybe you can try a different font for the motto. 4. I would like for the logo to be able to be reproduced in either color or gray scale without losing anything, so I do not know if the reflection of the pig will hold up in black and white. 5. The black and gold in the name is great because it reminds people of the New Orleans Saints.
Saw that you said you have doubts about the color reflection that I used. But how about the reflection of the knives, or other metal tools, there are no difficulties of printing there? No there aren't. I want to assure you that every colored logo can be printed very good in B&W. In B&W printing, all elements are printed in black. The shadows or other glowing effects can be obtained with a big distance between the printing raster points. A little printing tips : )
What do you mean when you say "rustic looking"? Please be more specific to help us, in creation of the right logo for you. Thanks! Regards, Ake
