I hope you like my caricatures of the French Bulldog & the Cavalier smiling for the camera. :) I know you wanted to have a logo transition well to black & white, let me know if you would like to see this logo in black & white as well. Did you want to add any tagline? Such as "Gifts for Dog Lovers" or something along those lines. I will be posting more logo concepts soon. Thanks, Don
Don (#2) that's awesome. Definitely going somewhere here.... The cavalier is a blenham (red and white like yo have) but she's a girl. The one here... for some reason... I think looks like a boy. :-)
The French Bulldog is tan... so this is close, too! If you could just make the muzzle and ears the same color, that'd be great. It's also funny you got the collar colors right on, but if you wouldn't mind switching them, that'd be great! (since you've got a pretty literal look going here, but still fun... take a look at http://www.houstondogblog.com. The cavalier in the banner and the french bulldog on the top left column are the dogs in question....) ;-)
When you're coming up with more versions of this logo, I'd like to see some options with these caricatures that can be removed. (ie... where they arent so integrated into the design, I could crop them out to jus tthe name).
Here is the logo with the collar colors swapped, the French Bulldog's color changed & I added eyelashes to make the Cavalier look more female. ...more versions on the way also. Thanks!
I love these! Great job. I'd like to see the text logo with a few more colors... love that direction. I think as far as the dogs go, I am going to want to use these two for another project I am doing.... and not the pooch pals logo. This is all so great, though!!! THANK YOU!
Re: #13 #14 #15 #16 #17 Here are some more options, remember, if you like certain elements or colors from one logo, but want to see them incorporated in another, we can always mix or match. Thanks
Okay... so back to the caricatures. :-) Not such a literal like before... but maybe a line drawing? I'd like it separate (not overlapping the other part of the logo. Maybe two pups below the bone, or sitting on the "S" in #25....
Loving the direction of #34. Love the concept of the dog sketches, love the font. Now... any way we can add a foot like in #25? Also, can we make the dog sketches look more smooth? These look a little too much like pencil sketches... somehow coming to a happy medium between these dogs and the dog in #15....
#41 is super cool, but looks a bit more hand drawn than I'd really like....
#39 is my favorite so far. I'd like to see a version of this and #25 with a stylized dog bone as opposed to a character if you have time. either where the dogs are on 39 or just to the side!
Great great stuff! This is getting so exciting, right on!
I LOVE the dog paw in the box. If we could make that pop a bit more... almost as if that was a standalone logo, with just a very contemporary crisp font for "pooch pals" then I think that would be the perfect option so we have one whimsical option (#39 still my fave!) and then something along the lines of #51... but not so retro and a bit more of a pop or reflection to the logo.
Can we make the blue in the box a fun green? Like a lime? then a bit brighter on the fonts, red and blue/purple maybe? Also, the pals maybe a tad thicker? This is GREAT!!!!
#50 - Can you do a different bone, going horizontal maybe under this font somehow? :-) Also, can you do some sort of reflection effect to the that logo in general? I wish I knew a better term, but like Apple does to their logos on the App Store....
Re: #66 & #67 - Here are the changes as requested. I personally like #67 better, because it uses close to complimentary colors in the paw icon (yellow/purple) & complimentart colors with the lettering (red/green) Also I think the paw icon has alot more 'pop' with the purple background. Let me know, thanks.
PS - As far as the green looking a little 'muted', it's difficult to get certain colors to translate well through a computer minitor as opposed to printed ink. If could provide PMS colors for my design should I win the contest. Thanks.
Here's another... Can I see a version with all the same bold font as the Pals currently with the logo in the middle? Also one with the logo on top of Pooch Pals? Just want to see all the variations for where it fits.....
SORRY... I didn't see your comments Re: #79 Here it is with a deeper purple & a little bit brighter green, also grayscale to follow. Let me know if you need any revisions on #99 through #103. Thanks!
Just an idea for #104.... Can we alternate these colors around? Switch the yellow and green? Keep pals in a BRIGHT yellow that doesn't get lost, and put a gradient green on the paw like the yellow is?
Let me know if you think any other combo of colors would work with the logo...
