The logo is for a mobile app for table tennis sport. The app is a data search and player socialize app. We are looking for a concept that is different from our current one. But needs a combination of text and icon. We need the flexibility of being able use the text or icon version of the design independently. Equally important is the ability to use the design on mobile, desktop, shirts and banners.
not entirely clear what you want.. and how you want to relate to the current logo... I did a simple icon easy to use for a mobile app... can incorporate your font style and 3D look but it is harder for some print applications.
