Player GridLogo Design Contest

Thanks very much for your submission here. I kind of like this but the flags and stars make it look too professional. If there is a way to make this more fun and simple ... so that it appeal to boys, girls and the parents of youth sports teams that would be great. Maybe a softer typeface and not as much emphasis -- or eliminating -- the badge enclosing these elements. We will be adding a tagline to the logo that says "we put the I in team" so having something horizontal that lends itself to a tagline underneath also works very well.

#62 : Grey scale version

Looking very good!!! I like these a lot. Another idea I had might be to put a player number (maybe #3) on the kid's shirt. And maybe a version where the kids has a pair of competitive swimming goggles on to show the tremendous amount of variety in sports that are applicable. Not sure if the goggles would be too much but it could be interesting. A number (so that it looks more like a uniform) might look good on the kid's shirt.
