Thank you for your submissions - I have ranked your concepts #1 and #2 because I like them best so far. Here are a few suggestions:
1. Change the "PLASTIC SURGERY REVIEW" font to something similar to the logo on http://www.drlinder.com/. (I like the gradient on this site too).
2. Make the turquoise ring inside the emblem a bit thinner.
3. Add a 2 light grey stars in the emblem. One on each side in between "PLASTIC SURGERY" and "REVIEW". This should look good. (similar to the grey stars in the logo on http://whitehouse.gov)
