Hi there! It looks like this will be the winner! As mentioned before- I work for a marketing firm and we all really love your work here, and would love to work with you again!
We may even need some variations of this logo at some point in the near future. (Obviously, it’d be paid work.) We’d love to stay in contact with you. If you’re interested, please feel free to reach out to me at robert@visualmotionstudio.com
Could you please try a version of the logo that has pepperoni in strategic places (so it looks like a pizza but also doesn’t look like the faces have acne), such as in this picture:
Hi! Could you please make the eyes, nose and mouth on the right slice of pizza slightly different from the left- still gender neutral though. Thank you!
Hi there, could you please bring back the eyebrows and noses, but could you please make one set of eyebrows a bit thinner than the other set?
I just want to communicate with you that you are definitely the winner of the tournament, but I am going to kick it back to the finalist phase just to give you time to get this revision in. Thanks!
Hi! This is very close! Could you please do a version of this without shading on the crust too? The more simple and readable the design could be, the better. Thank you!
Hi! This is close, but I think it can stand to be even simpler than that. (i.e. No shading on the pizza, etc). Also, could you make both of the faces essentially the same face, with no real gender defining features? (Still looking into each other’s eyes) Thank you!
Got it, and maybe changing facial expressions and emphasizing the color shade will make it look more simple and suitable for use as an app icon, I'll work on it soon
Hello!
Since we’re getting close to the end, I could start to reveal a few more details on this logo.
It is for a potential dating app, centered around going on Pizza Dates. We love your logo, the only pitfall we see on it is that it may not work perfectly as an application icon. Our client that we’re working on the application with was wondering if you could do another pass at the logo taking the following into consideration:
- They were wondering if you could simplify the logo stylistically- similar in style to the image in the attached google drive link below. They were curious if you could have the two slices look gender neutral, and looking into each other’s eyes intimately, without the heart shape surrounding them.
- They love the font you have for the logo, but could you please make the word ‘Pizza’ in the logo a bit darker shade of red?
- They were curious if you could add the tagline of ‘Find your Slicemate’ to the logo
Here the pizza slices having a bit more sauce on them. The color of the sauce is made a bit soft so as not to distract from focusing on facial expressions.
I work for a marketing agency, and we really love your work you’ve done in the contest so far. We’re unsure which logo will wind up winning, but we’d like to stay in touch. If you’re interested in freelance work after this, feel free to send a portfolio of your work to Robert@visualmotionstudio.com
Hello, for the sauce I will add it. As for the font, it would be a violation if I copied another designer, I'll make another alternative with a different font and color that matches the pizza. I'll work on it ASAP. :)
Hello Dodi_wi, I hope you're doing well! Could you please try another pass at this logo, but add some sauce to the pizza? Right now, I think the only thing missing is that on the 'face' part of the pizza, the color is just a little too similar to the crust. Additionally, could you please take a pass at the font similar to that of Craft's logo (it's currently ranked in 6th). Let me know if you have any questions! Thanks!
