Looking forward to completing stuff with you 3 years ago Angus commented on #84 Good morning to you both! Just to confirm, the font used is indeed Gotham - Bold for the name Book for Insurance. 3 years ago Angus commented on #185 Withdrawn Good morning guys! Hope you had a good evening? Here is this one with "commercial" removed. 3 years ago Angus commented on #84 And a Happy Friday to you both too! Of the top of my head I think I’ve used a font called Gothic, but I’ll check first thing in the morning (I’m about to get some sleep). Ooh strange, it should come through, but as you say it might be a security thing as it’s still a live contest. It will definitely be there in the final files. Have a great rest of your day and speak to you tomorrow. 3 years ago Pineconeins commented on #84 also, when my wife tried to look at the logo on her computer to play around, the light brown background didnt come through. Not sure if it's a protection thing til the contest is over. She tried a cut and paste to conceptualize the logo on a postcard 3 years ago Pineconeins commented on #125 Withdrawn With this one we are going to drop the word commercal and just have home auto business with the bullets between 3 years ago Pineconeins commented on #84 Happy Friday. My wife was wondering what font you have in the logo so she can begin designing a post card 3 years ago Angus commented on #125 Withdrawn Good morning to you both! Hope you had a good evening? And here is a version with the alternative tagline. Cheers Angus 3 years ago Angus commented on #124 Withdrawn Good morning to you both! Hope you had a good evening? And here is a version without any tagline. Cheers Angus 3 years ago Angus commented on #84 No problem at all. Just about to get some sleep but I’ll work up the other two options first thing in the morning so we can see them all next to each other. Have a great rest of your day! 3 years ago Pineconeins commented on #84 So talking with my wife. We like this logo design. Will probably want the base logo no tag line, one that states Home and Auto Specialists as you’ve done and a last one with Home * Auto * Commercial/Business 3 years ago Angus commented on #102 Withdrawn And here's this one in B&W 3 years ago Angus commented on #84 I can indeed, will work that up now! 3 years ago Pineconeins commented on #84 Yes. Thank you. Can you please do this one in B/W? 3 years ago Angus commented on #84 Well, it's between these versions ie having the pine cone lower down, or the original where you have it over the house. I think both work nicely - I suppose it depends whether you want the tagline slightly larger, in which case its the original layout OR if you don't mind it slightly smaller then one of these layouts where it's curved. Hope that helps :) 3 years ago Pineconeins commented on #84 We were going to ask which one you preferred professionally 3 years ago Angus commented on #84 Good morning! Personally, I also prefer this setup - it keeps the wording nice and clean and legible (not that the other one didn't but I think this works better). 3 years ago Pineconeins commented on #84 Good morning. I received your message about centering the graphic between Pine Cone. We may end up going with this type of logo with the graphic along the bottom. I know there are two selections... one with the inner circle and one without 3 years ago Angus commented on #88 Withdrawn Hi there! Yes, since we’ve made the actual Pine cone in the middle and put the words on either side it’s slightly off. That’s because with this font the letters are all different widths, and the word cone has wider letters ie an O and C, whereas Pine had the I. Does that make sense? That’s why I experimented with that other font - that one has characters that are all the same width meaning each word will be the same width and therefore equally balanced. 3 years ago Pineconeins commented on #88 Withdrawn My wife noted the E on Cone is off of the logo more than the P for Pine on the left 3 years ago Angus commented on #89 Withdrawn Thank you and my absolute pleasure! I look forward to the feedback and comments. I’m based in London, so going to get some shut eye, but will check in again first thing in the morning. Hope you guys have a great rest of your day. Cheer Angus 3 years ago Pineconeins commented on #89 Withdrawn You are crushing it with your content and feedback. Thank you so much. Will present to my wife later and get her input 3 years ago Angus commented on #89 Withdrawn With this one, again the pine cone is centred, but, I've changed the font to one that is what they call monospaced ie all the letters take up the same space in width and height! That way they stick out exactly the same amount and help everything feel more centred! 3 years ago Angus commented on #88 Withdrawn And here is one version - pine cone centred and font made smaller. 3 years ago Angus commented on #83 Withdrawn I know what you mean, being slightly off, does through your brain a bit. Will work up a new option now. 3 years ago Pineconeins commented on #83 Withdrawn We like this one, but I think my mind likes to see things centered more.... Could you reduce the side of PINE CONE a little so it is closer to the logo circle, and have the pine cone image centered on that line, kind of in line with the chimney? We look forward to working closely with you 3 years ago Angus commented on #85 Withdrawn And the last one - again moving the pine cone lower, removing the secondary inner broken line to allow the curved tagline to go at the bottom. 3 years ago Angus commented on #84 And another - this time moving the pine cone lower down to keep the wording cleaner. 3 years ago Angus commented on #83 Withdrawn And here is one version - moving the pine cone between the words. 3 years ago Angus commented on #82 Withdrawn I can indeed - will work that up now. 3 years ago Pineconeins commented on #82 Withdrawn Angus, could you please try something for us? Can you move the pine cone and greenery between the word PINE and CONE? That would leave the house standing alone. We are curious how that will look. Thank you 3 years ago Angus commented on #82 Withdrawn Excellent and my pleasure! 3 years ago Pineconeins commented on #82 Withdrawn Amazing. Exactly what we are looking for. Great work 3 years ago Angus commented on #82 Withdrawn And here is a version with the green brightened up! Look forward to your thoughts. Cheers Angus 3 years ago Angus commented on #81 Withdrawn Thank you, glad you guys like it! And of course, no problem at all will lighten the greens as well. Will do that now and upload momentarily. Cheers Angus 3 years ago Pineconeins commented on #81 Withdrawn Looks great Angus. My wife and I were just discussing how much we like this. Can you lighten the roof a little and the greenery at the bottom of the pine cone? From a distance, we want to be able to see the layers you’ve put together. Amazing work 3 years ago Angus commented on #81 Withdrawn Hi again! How about this colour? 3 years ago Angus commented on #44 Withdrawn Hi there! No problem at all will upload a new lighter version shortly. Cheers Angus 3 years ago Pineconeins commented on #44 Withdrawn I look forward to seeing the new design. We really like your work. With a lighter pine cone I think from a distance the logo will be more identifiable 3 years ago Angus commented on #45 Withdrawn Thank you! 3 years ago Angus commented on #44 Withdrawn Hi there! Thank you, really appreciate the kind words. Of course not a problem at all, we can easily lighten up the pine cone. Cheers Angus 3 years ago Pineconeins commented on #44 Withdrawn This is a wonderful logo. I will discuss with my wife shortly. If needed, could the coloring of the pine cone be lightened a little or lightened with some texture? 3 years ago Pineconeins commented on #45 Withdrawn Very nice 3 years ago Angus commented on #46 Withdrawn And a B&W version as well. 3 years ago Angus commented on #45 Withdrawn Just a close up to show the detail of the illustration. 3 years ago Angus commented on #44 Withdrawn Hi there, Welcome to Logotournament - I hope this finds you well and having a good week so far? Here is one of my concepts. I've created something that is simple, yet striking and unique! The logo is 100% vector so will scale well to any size, and works well in full colour, B&W and on coloured backgrounds if needed. It would be my pleasure to work up any variations so please do say. I look forward to your comments or thoughts. Regards, Angus 3 years ago
