also, when my wife tried to look at the logo on her computer to play around, the light brown background didnt come through. Not sure if it's a protection thing til the contest is over. She tried a cut and paste to conceptualize the logo on a postcard

So talking with my wife. We like this logo design. Will probably want the base logo no tag line, one that states Home and Auto Specialists as you’ve done and a last one with Home * Auto * Commercial/Business

Well, it's between these versions ie having the pine cone lower down, or the original where you have it over the house. I think both work nicely - I suppose it depends whether you want the tagline slightly larger, in which case its the original layout OR if you don't mind it slightly smaller then one of these layouts where it's curved. Hope that helps :)

We may end up going with this type of logo with the graphic along the bottom. I know there are two selections... one with the inner circle and one without

Hi there! Yes, since we’ve made the actual Pine cone in the middle and put the words on either side it’s slightly off. That’s because with this font the letters are all different widths, and the word cone has wider letters ie an O and C, whereas Pine had the I. Does that make sense? That’s why I experimented with that other font - that one has characters that are all the same width meaning each word will be the same width and therefore equally balanced.

My wife noted the E on Cone is off of the logo more than the P for Pine on the left

With this one, again the pine cone is centred, but, I've changed the font to one that is what they call monospaced ie all the letters take up the same space in width and height! That way they stick out exactly the same amount and help everything feel more centred!

And here is one version - pine cone centred and font made smaller.

I know what you mean, being slightly off, does through your brain a bit. Will work up a new option now.

We like this one, but I think my mind likes to see things centered more.... Could you reduce the side of PINE CONE a little so it is closer to the logo circle, and have the pine cone image centered on that line, kind of in line with the chimney?

And the last one - again moving the pine cone lower, removing the secondary inner broken line to allow the curved tagline to go at the bottom.

Looks great Angus. My wife and I were just discussing how much we like this.
Can you lighten the roof a little and the greenery at the bottom of the pine cone?
From a distance, we want to be able to see the layers you’ve put together.

Here is one of my concepts. I've created something that is simple, yet striking and unique! The logo is 100% vector so will scale well to any size, and works well in full colour, B&W and on coloured backgrounds if needed.
