Hi, Thanks so much for getting things rolling. You have read my brief carefully! I like the retro font in #4 and would love to see more options. A beach theme would work great, like you suggest in #3, so keep going in that direction. Would love to see more retro 1960s ideas like the graphic in #1. Good luck! Ruby P.S. More info on main commment page.
Hi there, How would the imagery from entries 5 and 6 look configured without the trees? Love the worn texture of the fill throughout design- like a block print or old paint. Thank you!

Hey, this is really coming along. I wonder if the contrast could be increased a little, and would like to see what the design looks like with different fonts and palettes. One other thing that might need to change is the arm positions on the figure. Is there any way to get her arms into the shape of a "V" like in this link, maybe coming from under the wave, or out of it? She could be the feature of the logo.
Hi Mustafa, Thanks for being so patient and working so hard to interpret my requests. I don't have the design vocabulary to describe the feeling I'm looking for, and you are making a great effort to understand me! I think the figure in the last two entries is too specific and narrows the target audience. Also, it might not be possible to communicate to you what would make the figure look like she's using her pilates muscles! Let's see how the logo looks with just the sunset and the wave over the lettering. I'm going to suggest tryng an emblem on the main comments page, and I think this idea might look great as an emblem. I will research some fonts, also. I like the new colors and would love to see more.
Hi again, Just learned that art deco implies harshness and industry. Would love to see what you have, but please google "endless summer" for a simpler retro beach vibe.
Thank you for letting me know about updated brief and for your constructive feedback, Ruby. I hope I am getting close to want you want with my new entries #25, #26, #27, #28. Please don't hesitate to ask revisions so that we can reach the logo that really suits you. Regards, Mustafa
Thank you for all your hard work! I found a tutorial that explained the rules for designing a good logo, and now I understand why it needs to be so simple and clean. I feel pretty attached to the endless summer II idea, now that I figured out how to articulate what I'm looking for, and I hope your efforts will go there for this last leg of the contest. However, I could be wrong, so if you do end up with some extra time, the entry I just ranked 1st would be a contender if the sun rays and the weathered texturing that I liked before were removed to bring out the basic design elements. A bigger, plain setting sun might create a more peaceful vibe that matches the appeal of the studio. I like the contrast, but am open to other color palettes.
You are totally right about simpliness and cleaness of a good logo. Sometimes more complex logo would work too as long as it's not too busy. Here are my new entries with 2 color emblems. Easy to translate in black and white without losing the vibe. #42, #43.Please, let me know your thoughts. Thank you, Mustafa
