not sure what you mean by more character.

so for example adding the circle in the other entry adds a little more character or makes it more interesting. also I think the changing the font might help

also if I can be more clear. this is a photo booth business, the plus word is meant to tie the words photo and booth together with a plus symbol, the more interesting the plus symbol the better. I would almost lean towards something vintage.

i dont know what to do. i dont know what kind of "vintage" font style you like its too complicated term
also i cant find a way how to characterise plus. as i see on first ranked design if plus is bigger then the better.

this design is just random. maybe you can tell me what kind of vintage you are thinking of.

and is that booth the classical photo booth with the curtain and claustrofobic "interior"? or its something else?
