Hey Daz, I really like your simplicity in #113 and #107. Could you add photography in somehow on both? I think it might need that more then anything. I like your font selection. It appeals to me.
I'm glad that you found it appealing to you, its simple / elegant. I've added photography to both in a way that adds to them, let me know if you wanted to see anything else.
Perfect Daz! Think you nailed #140 quite well. Do you have any color schemes you would like to show me? I think this logo is growing on me quickly. I like the font so leave it there. Just add some different colors. I am trying to step away from grayscale but it might just work in the end. Will see.
Here i gave you a couple of color options, the good thing about this logo it looks great on all colors, any color you'd want to see, it will look good on it.
Also it looks very good in plain black against white or vice versa, therefore it is effective to work on all backgrounds / materials , etc
Hey, Could you do Langer in the color? I feel the Langer and photography being lost with the colored Chris before it. I like your gray, red, light blue color. Do you agree about the Langer being lost?
What do you think about different shades of color for my name? I like the name being in color then the Photography not. I am still up on color. Color is harder then finding a logo!
Hey Daz, I will keep you updated on color as I have NO idea what I want yet. Ugh. If you have any ideas, just send them out. Thanks again for your constant changes and input.
Done your requested changes, let me know if that is what you had on mind.
By the way, i've checked your website and photographs there, i love them all, you've got a nice sense on how to utilize the lightning very well and also focus on the small details / composition in the picture and overall they look so professional / movie like pictures that captures a lot of emotions / actions as well all at the same time.
If i wasn't a creative designer, i would have loved to become a photographer.
You could check some of my work at www.dazzleinteractive.com , you will also notice that the logo for " dazzle interactive " = " di " is done in a very simplistic / yet elegant / effective form , you can feel it says much and powerful though yet it is simple.
This is what i was after with your logo and having " CHRIS " just a bit bolder thenn " Langer " and keeping it in a light frame just like in pictures captured.
Let me know if you wanted to see any other variations / colors.
Hey I am interested in #240 but it might be something I discard later? It looks nice but I am not excited about it like I am with #161. It is unique but it doesn't fit something I am looking for. What else are you thinking?
Now in #251 and #252 , you will notice i had 4 boxes with 4 different color shadings and those were done on purpose for the reasons i will mention later here.
on #252 they look like a regular picture frame abstract / icon shape.
Now the reason i made them 4 are for the following :
You got 4 major area's you focus your work on " singles - sports - portraits - nature "
Now to add a unique match with logo and later as i have had a nice vision for linking that with 4 different colors on your 4 different sections and button / tabs
Also i had visioned a nice way to link them on your business cards too.
Hope you like this new approach / add on to the first one you are liking.
Could you explain more about the #251/#252 business card idea? I like the website idea and think it might look great. I like where you are going with them just want more context. Think these are stronger then #161.
Thought i'd give you the best of the two worlds, since you loved the type i used and felt its elegant / classy enough, to do a mark that you can brand well with that and on its own too as a water mark on your photos at the bottom or top corner.
The mark #360 , #361 and #362 is simply an abstract of an eye , with its upper eye line is thin like the type and the pupil of the eye is the camera lenses.
Hey, I like your concept but I am more intrigued by #357. Could we do more with my first name and last name being big up front then the rest of my name next to the initials. Then add photography somewhere around there. Think the font works still. Just do something clever like you did with the big C but add the L next to the C as well. I like this method more then #286.
here #488 , the over all frame that holds the " C " and " Chris " i picture it as a picture frame or a camera frame with the middle / circle lenses in middle of it.
Highlighted part of it in grey to relate to " LANGER " part of your name under it, and to create a nice contrast.
Also the way " Chris " is written makes people think for a while and at the same time leaves a pleasant personal impression, about you being unique and so is your logo / identity which relates to you.
#497 , #498 , #499 , new concept in a new direction.
Here i created a unique mark that you can use on the left of your brand name, on top of it and later on its own as a mark on your pictures, etc.
This unique mark / icon shape is created from your initials " CL " where the " C " is inverted to create the " eye " shape of a human face and the " L " to create the nose.
So here you see half a human face shape clearly as well as the two letters.
This can relate to you as having your own sight / vision for seeing things from a different perspective.
