We really like this... but can we see #102 with a small flame in the lantern?

THANK YOU!

Thanks! They look good, but since the contest is nearly over and we just now started (in the last 24 hours) mentioning the lantern idea, our team is thinking another week would help. So, I think we may stop this contest and start a new one... please check into it if we do because you are very close to what we are hoping for!!!

Hi,
You can get get revisions from the top 5 ranked designers during judging, this would mean you do not have to extend the contest.

Not sure if you can actually stop this contest and start a new new one.

...so too see revisions all you have to do is place any designer in one of the top 5 positions and they can upload variations

Thank you for your help! We actually got an extension so hopefully that will help a lot, too! One thing I was wondering about with #107 is if there is a better color to be the background that doesn't look like a stale yellow. I understand that it looks like a light, but am wondering if we could see other color options? Still staying warm and inviting. Something about this logo is that it doesn't have the inviting appeal that we were hoping for with a lantern. However, it is professional and we like the scripted font for Phos and the classier font for Community Church. Do you have any suggestions for making the lantern inviting or another color background? Lastly, the top of the lantern is all blacked in... could it be a handle instead, to signify movement or that the lantern is portable instead of stationary?

Thank you!

Thanks for the feedback, I'll see what I can come up with based on your comments.

A couple edits that could make this closer to what we are looking for:

• Making the handle a little bigger. Maybe down to the next level of the lantern top so that it is more open?
• Change the yellow. Could we try the logo with different shades of yellow? Something less dull and more bright, but not primary?
• Make it more organic. Could there be a way to show rays of light with a couple black streaks instead of a gradient background or different yellows in the background? We would like this to translate over to black and white print work easily without losing the effect that the light is shining out.

Thank you so much for your help! We really like your work and your fonts are great!!!

Thank you for sending the image! That is KIND of what we are looking for, but not quite. Could the black streaks be from the flame itself and then just be between 3-7 steaks instead of lots? The lantern is looking better, though! As for the lines, they seem to be a little sketched like with a graphite pencil or something instead of solid black lines. Is this just because it is a little pixelated or is it the effect you are using? We would rather the lines be solid black. Can we see this image next to the font you have been using?

Thank you so much! Your continued edits help a lot!!!

Entry #205 light streaks in background as opposed to Entry #204 light streaks coming from flame.

#205 is our favorite of yours, however we aren't quite there. Could we see the following:

• The empty part of the exterior circle match where the letter p of phos is? That way, it seems like the outward circle is missing because there is a word next to it... hopefully this would subtly integrate the image and the words.

• We like how organic the word phos looks. However, the hard, sharp edges of the lantern seem to edgy for the word phos. Could we see a little curve in some of the image... not all of the edges, but at least some, in order to bring the two things together.

• Could the lantern be smaller? It seems a little too big for the circle. Or, should the circle be bigger and the lantern the same? One idea I had about giving the lantern more room was lowering it in the circle so that the base/ground for the lantern took up less space. Could that possibly word?

• I am so sorry to say this, but I think I like the light without streaks better. I really am sorry! Thank you for letting us see it, though!

Again... thank you so much for all of your help!!!
