Can the rectangle have slightly rounded corners? Just to kind of knock the sharp edge off?

That is really sharp. Only other suggestion may be to say instead of "Quality..." in the bottom line say "Asphalt Emulsion Services".

I transformed the 2 "L"s into vertical tanks.

Interesting, thanks. I like that font but I wonder if the INC were caps also, if that may go better with PHILLIPS being all caps. Or maybe even leave off the Inc. and just have Phillips? Maybe even a rectangular or oval outline around it??? Very good logo, thanks!

That is a very nice logo. I may be interested in seeing it without the oil drips as the dots in the i's. Very nice.
