Hi Valerie,
I have to apologize but I just realized on Thursday that the contest was for only $214. I usually reserve detailed type work for $400+ contest and then it is only one version of the illustration. Because I had my own reference photos readily available, I made several dogs in these illustration. Even realizing that the actual prize is half of what I would regularly charge, I still decided to follow through what I started and throw in another dog. The time it takes to create an illustration does not justify the cost, but I did not want to leave you hanging.
Seeing your message asking for additional changes and specifically asking for a Shih Tzu would require starting from scratch. It is very difficult to just add anther element and have everything match exactly as before. The colors are different because I had to redraw from scratch when I drew the Beagle. At this point it would be better if I save the dog photos for other contests. Once I use an original photo in these drawing, I can no longer use it again since, I am selling all rights to the illustrated image. That is now 4 original images that can be used in four different $400+ contests. As a business woman, I'm sure you can appreciate that, I just can't give away potentially $1600 of work for only $214. I was still willing to keep the designs in, but I have since dropped in ranking. I was worried for you since, when I last checked, it seems that everyone else had either dropped out or was marked "not interested". It may be better to go with a simpler line drawings created by some designers. Fortunately, the previously ranked first designer is back in the running. LOL - No pun intended :D
Please feel free to get back to me or send me a message if you have any questions or for future contests. Best of luck. :)
