After thoroughly reading your notes, my entries following your directive to modify your current logo...I simplified it and used bold colors.. Red being an impact color with black...also the simplification of the lines and silhouettes make it easier for immediate recognition and long term association for your company.
I incorporated a cat profile in the negative space of the dog profile instead of your current logo where it appeared both profile silhouettes are dogs???
