Got it! i like the idea! and thank you for the thought; i tremendously appreciate it. Excuse me if i may, i honestly thought it was a hot steamy pile of dog crap!
lol, thanks for the sense of humor;; Yes i think it does, What if that where made to be a paw that looks like a crown. And as for the Impact font, maybe try to find something really different - . Just a thought! thanks, for your work. ( i like how the stars made the paw more ambiguous).. Have the whole logo with or without the Pet repbublic words. and make it a non perfect circle. play with some shapes but keep it a describable shape.)
I worked on some different crowns and different treatments to enclose the paw. Tell me which direction you like or if you have any suggestions or tips tell me, so I can work it out.
Could you tell me a bit more about what kind of pets? That might be helpful to visualize it. Do you want me to incorporate the paw crown in a flag? Or just a paw?
I would like to thank you for all your work thus far. We have chosen you as 1 of the top 5 designers in this contest. Now we would like to request of you to show us your highest level of skills to win this competition.
We really like the concept of having a flag with something inside it. Could you please attempt a few ideas with different flags and different items inside them? Keep in mind we need it to be very simple. Think "Nike" logo.
Thanks so far and can't wait to see what you come up with!
Thanks for you compliments. I really appreciate this and feel honored to be one of the top 5 designers. Could you push me a bit more into a direction or clarify a bit more. You are asking me to design a very simple design, which I love to do. But I would like to know what kind of products you make. Is it food and toys and stuff or just toys only or?
I'm asking you this because that would be helpfull to create an icon, because I feel all I can do now is put a paw (which covers most sorts of pets) in a flag. I noticed some designers already doing this, so it will be hard for me to create a different looking design from theirs. (Which will lead me into trouble, because my designs should be significantly different according the LT rules)
I think a paw is the best way to symbolize multiple kinds of pets. You said you wanted a really simple design. I think it will be to detailed if I have to represent multiple pets in any other way. Correct me if I'm wrong?
We like the idea of a "paw of power" on the flag in #156... can we have a few more variation of this with a cleaner flag in the background.. and other paw examples... thanks!
Also can you think of any other ways to relate a "republic" with a pet feature... the crown is great but it represents more of a monarchy, which is the exact opposite of a republic...
I like #181 but the paw/arm kinda looks like a tree... can we do some variations of different paw/arm so it looks more like a pets... also can we try different variations of just the PAW on a flag...
Just a heads up, I will be away from home tomorrow morning till begin evening. So If you want any revisions I will be able to do them tomorrow evening. (timezone here is 7 hours later than America)
Can you do one version with a larger flag and a paw print inside (similar to #186 but paw might be too strong). As well as a large flag with the crown paw inside (similar to #180 but large)
Ok, LvD, i have taken a good look at your profile page here at LogoTournament and i respect your work. I thank you for going through our requests and decision moves through it all. For instance, we told you to keep it simple. Thank you for that. Upon looking at the details in the designs for your other works, i have concluded that you've definitely "dumbed it down" for us because we requested to keep it simple. For us to solidify you as the winner. If you can make a few more sprints to this finish line, we'd appreciate it.
i would say #80 is our winner. It needs revisions: It looks like a chef's hat, ( i think its because the second line from the bottom has no filling in between to show that that is the "inside" of the crown")
You'll need to maybe make it more detailed with paw prints inside of it. have a great fusion on the Crown that has turned itself into a crown shape.(yes we are now going to stick with the crown;sorry about that back and forth) if you add details like shadows, etc. then just use your artistic eye, to decide what works best, we trust you, and we only have a few more days.
-also with your work, i really like the detail on "Correspondence" #3 rank. the vinyl record and the mic/world, etc...
We really like the #162 entry by loco. If you can please place a star over the "i" like he did that would be great. and we really like that type of font. and color scheme. That blue and Yellow.
--- ALSO! other ideas please: To answer your question, this is for all pets. Can you create a Mount Rushmore of Pets. Where, for sure, the Dog is a chiseled where Pres. Washington is, and then add a cat next, and a hamster, horse.. or also try a bird possibly.
THE LOGO MUST BE PREDOMINANT ! no small birds lingering around the mountain
Added some new revisions based on #80 (blue/yellow + 2 different serif fonts)
#203 - depth and shadow on the crown #204 - depth only 1 color #205 - depth from different angle
Tell me which you like best. You just want the crown now right? Without the flag.
I don't think a paw print inside the crown will work that well. If you want to display the icon in a small layout it will become very blurry and hardl to recognise.
I will work on the Mount Rushmore of Pets in a moment.
I would like to get some feedback, because this is really going to take some time to style and nail it. Don't think it will work that well for a logo but that's up to you. Waiting for your reply.
I'm off to bed, if you can give me feedback on both the crown paw and the rushmore, I can work them out tomorrow. (If you would like to continue on the rushmore. It's just a rough sketch for now for you to see if it has potential)
First you say #80 is our winner (with some revisions needed) and now I'm ranked 2nd. Did you change your mind or? A clarification would be appreciated.
