This is a useful process for me. Now that I have seen 30 logos, I can be a little more specific about what I want and don’t want.
1. Avoid clipart that is in the public domain – many of the logos I feel I have seen before. 2. Avoid communication cliches for the most art – or more to the point if you use one give a clichéd image like a ‘speaking bubble’ an interesting twist. 3. Don’t make it too ornate 4. I would like to see options using both serif and san serif type or a combination of the two – if it makes sense in the design 5. I’d like to see some things that are a little more modern and a little brighter than I indicated in my original brief
entry #31 I like the logo. It has orginality. Can you remove the boxed text from communications? It's a bit heavy for my purposes? But I like the way it creates a 'bottom' to the complete logo. Maybe put it in a colour?
#31 Can you also give me a version with the 'bug' on the left and the company name on the right. I think this will work better for our product briefs and letterhead.
In entries #5 and #36, I changed the colors to brighter and modern colors without being too feminine. Also, I removed the box and added two points that goes well with the “bug.” Plus, I moved the “bug” in the entry #46 to the left and aligned the shadow on the left side of the word “Peoples.”
