my submission, this icon represents the children, parents, and the organization..the hidden symbology is the Trillium flower Ontario's Provincial flower
I am very impressed by your portfolio, lots of original ideas, some that stand out are the singular bold ones like tourismus, paperfield films, and the half and half like the pulmonary associates with half maple leaf and half lung and p.i.c.s one. some thing that is bold, original, symbol that stands by itself that represents children's doctors (if canadiana or ontario gets in there, great, but not absolutely needed) other entries have pieces, like the shield that essentially incorporates elements from our current logo, and the always stand by teddy bear, but looking for original, like your winner in the scholar's choice contest
Thanks for the feedback it is always appreciated...I'll work on a new design direction...on another note.though I am in Nova Scotia I was born and raised in TO
61, what do u think of maple leaf in the paw facing you, still wonder if a stethoscope can be on the bear or maybe a head mirror (you know the band with the mirror) Hugging something? a building block with letter P or maybe maple leaf in the block (not sure if too small and clutters it)
The one here looks interesting more you look at it, has a flow, but not sure if you can put a trillium in the middle of it, after all the focus is Ontario?
design update as request adding the Trillium is not a problem since I fist done it with design #41..in this version it's not so poppy like as you mentioned before.
