PAO is probably not bold/big enough. We're looking for some creative ways to indicate "children's specialist MDs" being central/essential , being Canadian (province of Ontario)
stethoscope is interesting, our Pediatrics Section logo is a hanging stethoscope/hugging arms motif still not sold on dancing kids.a joining/connecting/intertwining ribbon overlaid on this? prob with stethoscope shown at this angle is the part dangling looks like a tadpole tail and at end of day probably not a good fit. what as alternate idea, you lose the kids, the half arch idea comes back but around the pao, and mirrored on the bottom to have a interrupted circle, lose the clutter, add a maple leaf somewhere, maybe middle of O?
46 looks promising, just wonder about the figures forming the "A", if the legs flared out would the entire middle figure/silhouette look more balanced, also not sure about the green and purple colour motif, are there meanings to those colours?
for the one that is currently ranked 23rd, is there a way that you could use bolder lines and brighter colours so that it would appear on a fax and photocopy? I like the idea of this, but it is too many thin lines to show up.
