One of our friends who is also a dentist in london had a logo designed by you which is very similar in terms of the colour and leaves. Could you please modify the #26 design making sure the concept and the colour is slightly different.
We like the whole idea of the leaves and the circle shadow(pearl) but it would be unacceptable if it is not unique.
Hi, thanks for feedback and for appreciating my work. For me it would be an honor if one of your friends had a logo designed by me. But I think is just a mistake and a confusion. I have checked my portfolio, and the only dental client of mine form UK, was this one https://logotournament.com/contests/mann_dental_care_1 and honestly there are no similarities between the two logos. (neither by layout, coloring or concept) To eliminate all your doubts please can you show me your friend's logo? On the other hand the logo which I have proposed for you (the combination of a pearl and a lotus flower) is unique, and is not similar AT ALL with any one of my dental logos from my portfolio (you can access my portfolio to see my previous work). So I can assure you that my logo proposal made for you is unique. Regards, Ake
No problem at all, I thought it was just a mistake. Probably because we are both romanians and we use by coincidence same national color : ) If I recall, at the beginning of your contest, you have posted some links of dental logos which were representations of a flower with pointy petals. I have used a "pointy" flower (lotus flower), because in medical&dental industry often is associated with "care". Looking at my logo proposal and your friends logo, I think there are no resemblance (the lotus flower, the layout, fonts, colors are different). But if you think that using a lotus symbol in your logo is somehow close to your friend's logo, then I'll stop developing further this concept.
Checking the conversation of your friend and our LT colleague designer, I saw that your friend has posted a link with dental logos examples, among them being more or less logo representations of a lotus flower. Also I seen a "pearl logo" too. Is that your old logo? http://www.logos4dentists.com/dental-logo-design-portfolio.html Best regards, Ake
No. that's another clinic. This is our website http://www.pearldentalclinic.co.uk/ .We really like the idea of the lotus flower and i agree with your opinion, but unfortunately some of us felt some similarities between the two designs could you somehow modify the design keeping the lotus flower and the pearl? we had a suggestion of adding the lotus flower to the background !
