Thickness is good. Unfortunately my suggestion makes it seem less like the RSS symbol. Not sure how to make it perfect.

Id love to see the P logo with the two green waves like you had, but something more solid. Less lines of separation?

I would really like to see this with thicker lines. Try connecting the "waves" and making them all green and removing the small blue dot. Very unique concept that's very relevant to blogging :)
